Chicory, is a purple or blue flowering perennial plant, belonging to the Dandelion family.
The Root is the highly fibrous portion of the plant.
It is high in many nutrients; including a soluble fiber called inulin, which decreases the absorption of glucose in the gut and reduces blood sugar levels.
Inulin is beneficial to the gut by performing as a PREBIOTIC.

So my scalp in the back of my head was on fire like burning and painful. This was 2 years ago. While that was happening my husband was on dialysis for kidney failure and I had a 2 year old and 6 year old. So hella stressed out. But I noticed the back of my hair had severely broke off like 1.5 inch to 1inch ( my hair was bra strap length length)but a lot more broke off on the left side with a little more hair on the right but still short. Fast forward till now and the hair gotten shorter and really broken off. Idk what to do. But I will try this herbal tea mix.
Good Morning Cyn Doll, interesting videos. Nice to meet you via UA-cam, I had to go back to a Trichologist, as the Dermatologist was not equipped in Afro/Caribbean/Black Hair. My Trichologist has now assessed my hair, I have Fragility crinium. She was forthcoming, and advise I needed to get rid of my dead broken relaxed hair. It will take some time for me to do this as I grew my hair and then a lot of things occurred. And to now go back to basic is hard and I am nervous. So I will do a big chop and as I am someone who loves the 80s. Will go back to an 80s hairstyle. However, I have started my scalp treatment as my scalp is in a bad way, and it needs to get back to feeling slightly better. I have products (i.e. Cade shampoo, Ceramide shampoo, Scalp Soothing Condition, hypoallergenic condition, soothing scalp spray, soothing scalp cream, and lots of steaming) from the Trichologist which will help the inflammation, just really nervous about the big chop, going back to washing my hair once a week instead of every 2 -3 weeks, then steaming my hair. The inflammation on my scalp has calmed down a bit. I was advised not to use gel, do you have any other suggestions such as curling cream that will be of help please?. I need to add an alert when you come on LIVE. The DERM consultant gave a wrong diagnosis and told me I had CCCA- she was WRONG, she then wrote an incorrect letter and blamed wearing wigs, and weaves which I never wore, and because I am Black made that assumption. This is why I reported her. I am glad I went with What is Truth. I am preparing to cut off the remaining relaxer, the Trichologist said my natural hair is very thick, just slightly nervous about the styling process.... and learning to go without a relaxer. Any advise will be greatly welcome? I have seen your journey which has been courageous. I wanted to ask if you had any videos specifically around the transition from relaxed to natural air. Great you found help!! Could you please share who your trichologist is and/or products? I too had a biopsy by black derm who diagnosed me w/ CCCA in my crown. I felt pressured to start treatment (expensive) that day and she had the nerve to ask me do I feel the inflammation has calmed down - I’m looking like how should I know, you’re the doctor…you tell me. Beyond grateful 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 to people like yourself and Cyn sharing experiences and knowledge.

I lost my hair to some kind of inflammation. The top of my hair went completely bold and was itchy with red areas. I still have hair at the back and side but no hairline and no hair on my fontanel. My scalp gets itchy and painful. Can my hair ever grow again after this inflammation heals?
