This song perfectly describes the feeling when I failed to save the abandoned kitten I took in. Her death was right before the day I had to play the game of shot put for my sports team. My spirit was too broken to be able to do well in the game. This song never fails to pull at my heart strings. A great song that moved me to tears. Very little songs have the capacity to do that without failing. (Ain't looking forward to gain any sympathy points here. Just to say that this song sums up that incident so well. The title fits too.)

A cats natural life without companionship of a human is 4.5 years. If your cat lived longer than this you not only helped it, but presumably gave it a GREAT life! Isnt't that what its all about? everyone passes - but nobody realises the good times and how much a little love can go a long way in changing something/someone's life. :)
