You gotta love the "old school" NAVCOM footers lifting the IR repeater on the VTL preamp. Haha! And your pronunciation of French manufacturer Jadis is hilarious Mikey! 😉 WTH?
Ron is the most OCD tube dude on the planet! Beautiful system setup, with analog room separated from the amplifier & loudspeaker environment. Mikey has been outmatched!
Lol. Don't kid yourself, Dan. ;-) 😉 I've not breached my tube collection or amps on my channel yet. I've got a closet full of tubes, including some that are currently unobtainable. Highly coveted items. I've got 7 pair of tube monos...
@@OCDHIFiGuyNo disrespect intended Mikey! But we haven’t seen Ron’s closet of banked tubes.. And Ron had one Vietnamese SET amp designer whose design included such unusual tubes that even you admitted was unique.
My first thought......... The House that Cocaine Built. lol :) Seriously tho, whoever built the lit up vinyl storage cabinets did some phenomenal work!
I have been to Rons house on top oif the hill and must say as nice as Rons system is the best part of his system is Ron himself he is the nicest guy on the planet. , I have been in the hot seat at his house and suggested we switch something around to see how it sounds and he is almost always willing to try it. That said I think his Clarisys panel speakers sound better than his Gryphon Pendragon's but OCD Mike is right, for realy bass heavy music in Rons room you would need some sub woofers, in a much smaller room the Clarisys are just fine witi a sub.
What planet is this on? I'm financially in great shape and have some nice things, but this ultra high-end equipment and market is unreal. My ears couldn't hear well enough to appreciate it all. Very nice!
@OCDHIFiGuy I totally understand and didn't mean to sound stuffy. It's just amazing to me the cost of some of the equipment like this. I collect vintage audio. I just can't imagine my ears really being able to appreciate the difference in sound once you get into some of these realms. I think it's extremely cool that these guys are into this market and not to mention the quality and design that go into these products. I know we all have what we enjoy and spend too much money on sometimes. But as long as it makes us happy, that's what's important. Oh, and I drive an inexpensive, practical car as well. I am grateful to Mike for taking the time to introduce my listening room and my audio system to his channel members! Thank you, Mike!

Killer tube amplifier 😊
Thanks for hosting us, Ron ! We had a great time !,
@@OCDHIFiGuy It was my pleasure, Mike! You and Jo are welcome back anytime!
Thank you, again, for the beautiful custom leather record case! I love it!
Beautiful! Can I come for a listen when I visit my brother in Porter Ranch? :)
Good to see some VTL representation. Luke Manly is such a talented designer and genuinely nice person.
For Sale US Audio Mart $29k 😮
Thank you for doing this. It gives a peek into a type of system, setup and room that most of us will never get the chance to visit....
You bet..
What I like about your channel is that you are a cool guy that treats
Everyone fairly rich or poor
Good attitude fantastic content very informative
Thank you so much 😀
I never had a favorite speaker until I heard Clarisys. If I had the money, these are what I would buy without hesitation.
Yes, panel luv ❤️ babe 😊
Ron is a legend! HiFi Rockstar!
Damn that's a nice room.. sounds good on camera too.
Madness tube system . Great job Ron ! Good job to show us Mike .

Nice, right ??
@@OCDHIFiGuy Yep, very! A little too nice for me. I wouldnt know where to throw my greasy clothes after working on my excavator. lol
That tonearm OMG.
Those Clarisys look like some Carver speakers I heard back in the 90's. At $149,000 for the Clarisys I think I'll pass and purchase a small home.
How about $500K Borresson ?

Thank you very much for the kind words, Dale!
Enviable system and rooms.
Damn who cares how it sounds, stuff looks awesome!
That's all that counts! (Aside from that pile of vintage junk between the speakers).

It's on your same planet. It's called a passionate hobby. I'll bet you've got a $100K car... I'd rather have the audio system and drive a $30K Car..

Ron speaks very highly of the Clarisys audio speakers. How did they sound compared to other planar speaker you have heard.
To me, there is no planar speaker that can go without subs.. just my .02c. They image great however...
@@OCDHIFiGuy Driving them with tubes. Don't planars usually require more power than that?
@@falconquest2068 I would have thought the speakers needed a lower impedance output stage too. And more current.
Not these drivers @@falconquest2068
