I am loving the Detour! I hit the cage at 260 the first time I threw it. (Camera storage was full so didn’t capture it😢) It’s amazing on hyzer flips too, goes soo strait and glides for ever.

Love the mantra. My old aura one got too flippy, then bought one in ethos and it’s just as flippy out of the box haha

Thank you! It is 176g. Power grip on all of these shots. If you meant feel, it’s neutron plastic which I like.
The Echo and the Runway are two phenomenal discs in my bag.
What plastic do you throw the runway in?

Great stability for the nice fade left even in windy conditions.
I didn't like the Matrix at first. But after seeing Broderick use it as forehand, I kinda dig it now for that. Now I don't have much of a said forehand, so I use for approaches and it seems to be money for me.
@broderic made a fun video of the Matrix. I also didn’t mind it with forehand, but it didn’t fill another spot for me.
I personally bag the matrix so if you are looking to get the best distance for throwing it back hand you’ll need it in electron or cosmic for longer durability
Absolutely love my detour. I love the 161g glow glitch as well but the detour is by far my favorite disc in the box. Also mvp needs to just release the new gyro cause it was white though idk what ever happened to it
Yeah big fan of both. What new gyro do you mean? Just the white rims on MVP discs?

I have an idea in mind for my first stamped disc. One day down the road it will come to life for sure!
Wish you had a z meteor to compare it too. I bag Toro pyro reactor and esp and z meteors.
I wanted the detour but I feel like my fission reactor is getting more and more Flippy. Very close to the detour
How do you think the meteor compares to the uplink in this video?
@@FlippyJamesDG my 3 year old 181g esp is almost as Flippy as the uplink but my newer z is between the echo and detour
the cosmic neutron makes things almost too overstable. looks cool though

The Matrix is good for a nice 250 up shot because it only has 4 glide. The Hex and The Reactor are both great midranges. The Reactor is sooo under utilized, it’s a great disc
I’m reaching for my Zone for that throw. I think I just wanted to see a bit more turn and less fade out of the matrix.
Agree, I want to like the Hex more because of the Hex hype train.
My reactor is better at everything I need the Hex to do.

Your Echo is more OS than mine and your Hex is more US than mine. I am still searching for a Hex that pops up like that.

No way! At least not now. Trying them out for a while.
Uplink is only .5 if it's soft neutron. Otherwise it's 1 fade.
Thanks for that comment! I had said 1 fade originally, then looked it up and saw .5 so only kept that clip in there haha
So...... The Detour is a semi beat in Theory.
By numbers, the theory is a little slower will a little less glide. Theory is also out of production.
I guess you could say detour is a beat up hex too…
