Today I saw Trey's first lead movie 'Blood Brother' via Liongate that came out in selected theaters and/or On Demand. I was pleasantly impressed on how good of an actor Trey was along with Jack Kesy. I felt and saw them as 'Sonny and Jake' from the movie. A good story line about choosing which side you want to feed...your good or not so good side. Which ironically goes to what Trey was trying to say in this video toward the middle to the end on what people can balance out more what they view as entertaining. What to feed on...the negative drama in the media or the more positive form of contents in the media.

I love the Breakfast Club but I also love that Trey expressed how he truly feels. I feel like most of social media thrives on negativity and bringing people down. Although this is not all that the Breakfast club has to showcase, it is often the case with interview outlets such as this. I appreciated this interview so much!

I agree with Trey and I love the breakfast club. The culture of hip hop journalism is to find out the dirt before any other platform and who can get details out of the interviewee, which isn’t a problem but it’s important to know who your interviewing so people will dish their whole like and people like Trey don’t display his like for the world. I have watched all of their interviews with Trey and he ask them not to ask about his personal life or women and yet it always comes up. So of course anyone would be pissed. Again I love Breakfast Club and loving something means your able to acknowledge when their wrong.

I'm use to Trey showing a humble character on his interviews but listen people, he is only human, we don't know what happened before this interview. I noticed at the end of the interview the message that he was trying to get through to everyone was more about the hip hop community, on how people always find a way to throw up something negative, no matter how much good you do, the negative always outshine the positive and some of the breakfast club interviews be more like digging for the worse in some opinions, but Trey you already know there's a demand for negative entertainment because this is what the viewers like, and so breakfast club are just the messengers who are supplying the viewers with entertainment. We love you Trey, you have so many true fans out here!

I see the negative and positive. That's why I stay tuned. They have positive interviews, inspirational interviews and people who tell it like it is. It's well rounded to me. I can't be all about people getting shot and it can't be all about financial advise. They cover it all and I respect it.
I am a big fan of Trey Songz. I have all of his projects however, i am not a fan of his interviews. In this interview he seems slightly irritated to me. I’ve also seen the previous interview he did with the Breakfast Club and his tone and body language seems to match this current interview. I’m not sure as to why he seems so irritated during this interview when he has sooo many positive things happening for him. I totally understand what he is saying during the interview but i also feel as if he could have been a little bit more energetic and convinced me more to go see his new movie. When he made the comment of MF’ers weren’t listening to his music when he had braids i felt a little offended, lol. Maybe it wasn’t as many people as he would have liked but his true fans where listening to him. I remember him performing at my college in 2009 and i knew all of the words! I actually agree with Trey Songz about the journalism in Hip Hop and I love TBC also but he's right. If they notice that most people are mainly clicking on the negative stuff, then they need to do a better job to promote the positive stuff they do. They need to turn the positive stuff into clickbait.

To be honest I think this was a good interview he was very informative about his movie that he has coming out and he talked about the music climate however he was right when he said that a lot of people was not messing with him until he cut his hair and the ready album came out and that's what really solidified his career however the trey day album was amazing body of work sonically and metaphorically. you could not tell me that the song sex for ur stereo wasnt everything!! This man has accomplished so much over the years and still keeps his relevancy.
