Post-viral fatigue is no joke and had me take longer to do the next video here than I would have liked. Fortunately all these demos kept me company! So long as nothing catastrophic happens, the next video will be out next week, as we unearth an old relic. Well, sort of old. It was on the PS3.

Highly recommend playing through signalis if you haven’t yet. Easily one of my favorite games of all time and would love to see you do a video on it.

In most games you have some kind of organization ordering around their soldiers with little to no care in their voice.
But here you have some kind of commander who is utterly pissed that the protagonist is still alive after he sent a whole squad in there.
I also love how the soldier who's part of the seirra4 sounds. He sounds like he really doesn't want to go in there, while being a little high at the same time.
It's a very realistic response to realizing that the one target you're supposed to take down has already killed a squad that is just as well-armed and trained as you. Many of these enemies are treated as faceless replacements who will do the organization's will without question, but it's nice to see some humanizing and realistic reactions that reminds you these are still human beings.
@@ruffethereal1904 yeah. I love it when games do stuff like this to go the extra mile. Makes things way more realistic. And in this case it makes it funnier too. 😁

About the Trepeng- the dead ninja has the coin with RECEIVER logo on it, or at least it looks similar to Receiver logo from Receiver 2.

I am waiting for Signalis, I like the artstyle inspiration taken from Ergo Proxy and BLAME mixed with the old-timey survival horror
Another upcoming game you may want to check out is Momodora: Moonlit Farewell. It's also published by Playism and, despite it currently only having a trailer, it looks absolutely fantastic. I've been a fan of the rest of the series for a while (which you should also check out!), so it's crazy that it's finally coming to a close.

I remember seeing another video mention how demos often do the opposite of what they should do, and kill hype for the game. Showing the wrong parts of the game or totally misrepresenting what the game is really about. Demos can be great, but sometimes really aren’t.
You can actually survive 1 pistol shot. They just have to aim terribly.
