These are some of my favourite videos to do. Never know what to expect, and haven't been disappointed yet.
Patrons will get a bonus video soon about another *escapade* from the festival...
Some of my favourite videos to watch too
Ech shame that more People dont wach it
I have been waiting for Radio the Universe for about 7 years now. I cannot believe I finally get to play it, and that it is actually going to release relatively soon.
System Shock plays great, looks great, performs great, is small file size, has great voice acting, and honors the original.
I just wanna say that I really appreciate this format - there’s *so many* demos available during these Next Fests at this point, it’s nice to hear about some of the ones I won’t have time to play, and other people’s thoughts on the few I get the chance to!
While I don’t know if these are a pain to edit or just generally work around, I’d just like to say that I think you nail them, ‘n’ I’d love to see more of this kind of video from you.
I love those demo showcases. There's so much good stuff to check out, your videos really help to pick out some gems in this diamond river that is steam next fest
You manage to be both informative and entertaining at the same time, which can be difficult line to walk. Your editing is solid, but it's your writing and performance that set your videos apart. And your obvious passion for gaming. Nice work my man
There is a shop in the return demo, but the graveyard boss is how you get there. I watched a vid about the demo earlier
YES! Radio the universe is easily my favourite demo I played at the next fest.
Eadio looks VEEERY much like postapocaliptic part of Chrono Trigger, from enemies to how fences and grades look on the ground.
Knew Radio the Universe would be up your alley XD. Tried the demo myself before this vid and it's up mine too, very much looking forward to full release now.
Oh, and on the Signalis comment: don't sweat it. There is a *lot* to unpack there, and it deserves the attention. Take all the time you need.
I really like these Next Fest videos. I started playing a lot more indie games the past 3 years and I've never been happier playing videogames. Please keep doing these videos, these devs and us players appreciate it.
Very cool. Given the number of demos around this time, it's always nice to see some highlights.
Great video, fellow Laphroaig enjoyer! 🤝
What music is playing in the background during RETURN? It's immensely gorgeous!
>This looks like my Signalis review script
I've got nothing but time.
I love these episodes you do. I've found so many incredible games that I've been able to add to my Wishlist. Keep up the good work!
man I am hyped for your signalis review.
Wow amazing!
If you're looking for more demos, here are the best I've played:
- Bionic Bay: 2d platformer with beautiful art direction, switching with object mechanic, very fluid
- The Star named EOS: point n click with great art direction, nice puzzles
- Saga of Sins: 2d action adventure, great art-style (like stained glass from churches), interesting story
I forgot about sixe game, they stopped updating during the pandemic, and im glad to see the game actually come out.
Heart of Darkness was the bees knees, hands down one of the best PS1 games ever.
6:09 good point. Is there not an option to turn music off? There should be. Especially if it gets frustrating. Im gonna end up ripping my earbuds out and flinging them lol
Cool games. At a recent steam festival, I played the demo of another potentially good game - Arnold Bounty Hunter. It looks more like the first Battletoads - there are not only fights, but also various adventures with platforming, hydrocycles. It also looks interesting. I liked the demo.
Good review video 10/10
Yay!
Neco-Arc appearance!😖
Mika is a "vibe" game.

teacher: let's say our names backwards!
kid named Lana: 💀💀
theres so many detective games on the horizon. Nintendo's recent direct had a bunch as well. what's up with that? is it the influence of true crimes popularity? 🧐 keep up the great work powerpak!
You realy should play system shock
Did i hear signalis review?
You did.
And it will likely be the end of me.
