Had to stop the video - excellent footage of that first trout catching some air!!!!!! Do you ever eat any of those trout? They stock them around here and I've tried them but didn't care for them.
Yes, he definitely got some air. no I don’t eat them. I just throw them back. a lot of people do though, and they will eventually die off, but I just choose to throw them back. thanks for watching. I appreciate the support.
I watch the DNR reports and prefer to go the 2-3 days after stock. I don’t like fighting the crowds that run to the water as soon as the fish hit. For me it is about the fun.
Can't wait for it to warm up enough to walk up and down the rivers
Me either, I think I’m going Monday. It’s supposed to be 70 here in West Virginia. But it’s a good time to be out fishing for smallmouth.
@@riverfishingwithfrank I thought about going out Monday was just depending on how much rain we got last night
I’m from hewett, I’ve checked out a few of your spots😂
@@Paintbeast1103 where are you from?

Stocked trout is mainly a food source for people , use to go to stocked ponds when I was a kid and catch some for dinner...lol
That’s true! It’s still fun catching them.

I agree with you 100%. I just had never been there when they stocked. I caught four really quick, but that wind was just too bad.
