I just recently found your channel, and I'd like to say I really enjoy watching your videos. Especially because they flow so well with the editing. Keep it up!
Hello TerrRawrSaur! Im new to this game an i really enjoy this series. Trying my best to learn some aswell from your gameplay. Have you done any videos of how to wire up an engine and create a good system for that? I think i got the building part alright, but i need help with the microcontrollers xD
I have a modular engine tutorial but it only shows how to build the engine in components. I dont understand engine logic that well myself so I tend to use other peoples ECU's or mix parts of others. the AFR controller for example is a good place to start because it will handle the air fuel mixture but requires you to build in all the starter systems. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2386277437
That's a good point. Itd be good if we had a wetness sensor :D but then itd just go off in the rain all the time. Perhaps what I need is a transitioning button that gives like 10 seconds of both wheels and propellers working at the same time before disengaging whichever isnt needed anymore.
@terr-rawr-saur the simple option is independent control of each clutch. But a microcontroller with timers to keep both going for a set time each switch would be cooler.
Shipyard videos are mostly for when I need a break from Career. The Paladin is mostly abandoned at this stage but it is on the Workshop for other people to finish or do something else with it. I think ill still come back to a large submarine at some point but Paladin just wasn't going together like I thought it would.
1 nano-second in the video and already love the peacefull vibe

@@terr-rawr-saur Thanks man im gonna look into that! I appreciate the quick response aswell!
Less than a minute in. already loving the editing mate
Thanks. Im still figuring out how much I should use sound effects and overlay text/images. I appreciated feedback about how im editing. :)
@@terr-rawr-saur The editing you've done so far brings a lot of extra life to it. So i'd say you're currently on the right track!
The altitude sensor idea might not work in heavy seas? You don't want the prop disengaging as you climb a wave

After watching I was confused because you can buy fuel and sell uranium. Must be the mods! :)
Must be, I am also still mostly confused. Zizo's addons really help the game be what its supposed to be.
It looks nice!@@terr-rawr-saur
The more career videos we get, the more scared I am for Paladin. Is The Shipyard still going to happen?
