Hey mate, great video series and channel! I'm considering doing the same swap this summer also to an EG4. I'm just wondering about the vibration and harshness - for daily driving is there a lot of vibration (particularly at idle/low revs)? How does it compare in this regard to when it was stock? I read online reports of similar builds with the rearview mirror shaking on idle. Would appreciate and be interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
Hey thank you. With the k swap mounts you can chose what bushes are in the mounts they are rated from soft medium and hard. If you chose the soft ones it’s really smooth you won’t get that option with the cheap eBay ones they are solid!! But there is a good hack to save money! Buy the cheap eBay ones and replace the bushes inside them with the genuine k swap mounts you can buy them direct from there website and the pop straight in.
Do K24 EG civics always need to have the bonnet (hood) raised up at the back near the windshield so the engine doesn't contact? I hate that look and want the hood to look normal.
Hello mate, I’m thinking of doing this with my white EG5, currently has a B16 Turbo in it, pushing 230-240 (it was 300 but over boosted) - I love it but could I ask, what was the 0-60 like on this Honda? Ive just picked up my k24a3, ordered my k20 oil pump, timing chain kit and *50 vtc starting to build it on tuesday. Great vids man, where did you pick up the k20 cams?
@@beatstv1958it depends on what car you want them, if it's low weight k20 cams are better. if it's a heavier car like an accord the low cam profile of k20 cams is not a proper cam because you will lack power and torque outside vtec

No you don’t you just cut out the inner panel and it sits over just fine

Seems like you have close to no drone exhaust noise! Which headers and exhaust setup do you run ? Cat, res and back box or what ? Thanks 🙏

It’s a 2.75 inch system with two big silencers and a 421 manifold

@@polishoskar2039 The two boxes in the system are both silencers to keep it from droning I had the custom made by LA Fabrication
