Newer to your channel but have enjoyed your lessons and material. Emailed recently (sign up-ed). Will eventually be buying some of your lessons.
Just curious, do you listen to Indian classical music?
I was obsessed with sarod playing and players at one point and time (6 or 7 years ago), anyone from past and present (Darbar Channel) has kept me “in touch” here lately: they just presented a female player (had been watching her years) and a unique raga I’ve only heard her play.
Check it out if you get a chance! (Rajrupa Chowdhury is her name). Dibavati is the raga if I remember spelling correctly. Gorgeous, mysterious kind of quality.
You should apply that raga to a jazz progression (for something different and unique)!!
Hey Miles! Thanks for joining and tuning in! I'm excited to have you here. I'm a fan of Konnakol and keen to explore more Indian classical music further. I'll definitely check out Rajrupa Chowdhury and the raga Dibavati, Let's stay in touch. Enjoy the lessons!
