For a little extra reward boost, you can switch number of hiding places to none and just play 10 Ridgeview Court as this map has a guaranteed hiding spot in the kitchen behind the fridge.
What I did - I put salt and crucifix in the house before going in, turned on all the lights in a diner and in a kitchen, placed salt on the exit of 2nd floor, on the kitchen entrance and on the entrance to dining room.
there is a spot too in tanglewood with "no hiding spot" it is in the nursery behind the thing there it actually work i don't know how to explain to you

@@masterlyon3424 that actually counts as a hiding spot, I dont know if it gets removed when you turn off hiding spots however it can sometimes be blocked with boxes on other modes

Ok so I tried this out for the first time yesterday and I didn't realize how easy it was to consistently get xp and money. I ended up getting a couple perfect games also, both with deogens. I got super lucky with the objectives and just spammed salt and crucifix pictures. Amazing tutorial.

Interestingly i run the same multiplier but i have no hiding and grace period set to 1 second. I do my runs on Ridgeview since i can use the dining table to loop and hide either next to the fridge or the piano if needed. I did the 1 second grace period cause i was constantly getting sniped by wraiths and banshees lol. Good at up and video!
That idea also sounds interesting, for me just going into a closet seems pretty foolproof but that sounds pretty smart too
Same.. pretty easy to hide behind kitchen island and the cars in the garages on both Willow and Tanglewood. No hiding spots needed.

This is the good idea, but in my opinion the woodwind 12.97x Strat is faster and easier the reason being getting to the island in kitchen can get you killed because the ghost can hunt really fast, whilst the woodwind strat the tables that you use are right next to the gate and you can figure out the ghost on woodwind in 1-2 minutes or guess and leave. also the woodwind strat only wants you to stay for one hunt, staying in the closet may force multiple hunts because you for one, hide and get a normal speed ghost that speeds up on line of sight, meaning you are forced to circle it to test the speed on line of sight or how often it blinks.
I do Tanglewood, Willow, and Woodwind. The houses are MUCH easier and faster esp when you encounter the "normal" ghosts like Mare, Yurei, Goryo etc that are hard to figure out unless they use their abilities or you verify ghost room. The kitchen island and cars in the garage offer actual hiding/breaks in line of sight when looping as well as great areas to test for abilities/secondary evidence. Also the ghost isn't immediately increasing speed with LOS like they do on Woodwind before they even reach the tables at Woodwind, which causes issues with identification.
That is a fair point but one thing i do want to note at least from my experience and hearing it is looping whilst crouching at the picnic tables the ghost has 0 line of sight on you, the only problem, is needing to talk or stand up for the ghost to locate you if it spawns far away@@mcflybywire
@@mcflybywireyou cant figure mare yurei and goryo out anyways on small maps, unless you spend several minutes and in this time you would ve multiple ghosts right in other games.
When ghost gets to fast till it reaches the tables on woodwind than thats your issue. You can easily get a second line of sight and then hide behind the tables in the mid till its close.
@@AlienGurke Nah not hard to get Mare and Yurei ability’s on the small maps I do often, also easy to pin point ghost room and if it doesn’t change most likely Goryo although Goryo is always a boring annoying ghost.
@@mcflybywire we also talk about high multiplier and not such easy difficulties means you ve 0 grace period means every try for a mare ability can get you easily killed and there is no way you get such abilities in under like 4mins otherwise you just waste time

Set sprinting off, set player speed to 75%, set flashlights off, hiding places to none, foggy weather is the easiest to see, and personally i prefer to play on Camp Woodwind that way i am directly next to the looping area when i enter the map as well as being able to see the ghost while its pretty much anywhere
The looping area is what? I know they nerfed the campfire so now the ghost can see you, so isnt it impossible to loop the ghost at campfire now without sprint?

Bro, you can easly loop in tangle, I recommend you starting in the garge and loop around car and kitchen table.
Starting like this tests almost all ghosts at one attack, and you can earn more money and xp.
In the Situation with the mimic it ist actually possible to Out Run the ghost there. I did that several Times in but I can understand your reaction bc it Looks Like it is Impossible.
It's extremely easy to out run it since i believe you walk like 4 times as fast but the issue is when you're cornered like i was (since I was dumb and didn't process that it was mimicing a deogen, which always knows where you are but is extremely slow when near you). Sometimes you can walk around it in a tight space but that can be tricky, and didn't end up working out for me in the vid.
@@kd_jhound4452 yeah it is possible to do that in that rooms but especially when you panic or you are Not expacting it you die there. I mean everyone died to a deogeon.
I had a Deo on my Apocalypse Gold run (video on my channel) and it was wayyy more stressful and tricky than any other attempts including a close win with a Revenant. People sleep on Deo's but they'll get you if you're lacking for sure.
I led my entire group to a dead end after realizing it was a Deo by mistake 😂 they were low levels, of course!

One thing I’m curious about that I never really had the chance to test because I haven’t had a mimic in a while for some reason, is even if you have no evidence turned on, you should be able to still see the ghost orbit it has since it’s considered an ability. I mean that’s if you really want to try and find if it is a mimic or not without waiting for hunts
Yup that's one way to see if it's a Mimic! However unless you know where the ghost room is exactly, looking for orbs may be risky so bring a smudge stick

No and i don't believe there is a legitimate way to automatically farm xp in this game but this is very efficient

during the twins how can you make sure that its not a thaye
The twins are always very slightly faster or slower than regular ghost speed, and thayes are extremely fast in the beginning, and get slower and slower as it "ages" (Thayes are aged when you happen to be in the same room as them, so if you don't ever go to the ghost room, it won't age, so be careful)
Thayes also don't speed up with line of sight (same with Hantu) which is a little tricky to test when they're at their youngest of course but smudge saves lives 😁

I need to practice looping. Any suggestions?
I'll make a guide on it eventually but I suggest just doing it over and over again on a custom difficulty where you get the ghost to spawn in with like a ouija board or using the cursed mirror until it breaks (turn on all cursed objects), and looping it as practice (make sure to turn off item loss). Also certain looping spots are easier than others, like the kitchen counter in tanglewood is much easier to loop around than the couch on this map, so try a variety of looping spots!

i know it’s been 6 months from ur comment lol but i always practiced just by turning off the losing your items if you die and started at low sanity. you learn from trial and error and you lose nothing if you die.
bro, i am closed in closet and the ghost still opens the closet and kills me (i have crucifix before and next to closet)
the crucifix won't do anything if the ghost spawns outside its effective radius, and sometimes ghosts can kill you in closets if you aren't holding the doors (i think it has gotten harder since one of the newer updates after the video was released)

I'm new to game (level 8, not prestige) and these equipments are locked on me, is there anything can you suggest for that situation?
In that case I recommend doing a shortened 1 hunt version of this strategy, where you just do 1 hunt and just listen to footsteps, and this should have a success rate of about 7/27 with just listening for footsteps (use the website for help on identifying speeds)
Also, at this level you should have parabolic mic and motion sensor and emf so if you have those optional objectives i recomment doing that since that is also a major xp source at x10 xp (x6 if you guess wrong)
Your success rate should jump up very shortly though once you unlock incense and salt and some other equipment but for now just listen to footsteps in one hunt

I failed once and it was a mimic, and the second time of the round it was a mimic. what are The odds? atleast i made it at level 9 to level 11 since the Reset of level.

I’m not that high level, so would level 1 of these items work?
Level one of these items would still work (although of course not as well) but if you're new to the game I recommend playing the game as it is until you start getting a few tier 2 items, just to enjoy the game as it is and get used to regular games and ghost behaviors, since I that's more fun and can help you understand the mechanics of the game which helps for the xp farm once you have a bit more experience
How can the demon be tested with like the 60s smudge but why is it harder to do the exact same thing for spirit?
It's not necessary harder but I ranked it as more difficult since the spirit will have you waiting for at least 3 minutes, and technically the ghost hunting after 3 minutes COULD still be any other ghost, unlike a demon where 60-90sec guarantees a demon
Lol I am playing almost the same multiplier & settings as my standard 0 evidence run settings xD I didn't think of it as a glitch. Just a 0 evidence tbh.
As an addition - I'm starting at 75% sanity and after 1st hunt I'm checking sanity in Van - it helps estimate the ghost by sanity threshold (e.g. regular pace but I get back to van and have 53% - then likely onryo or mare, maybe demon)
Why would you blur your badge? Can people be malicious about that? You could just change your badge to being a 'fake' name maybe?

Or just get wemod and set the xp multiplier to 15x and make the ghost always visible and other things (don’t use it in multiplayer, you will be permanently banned according to the developers)
