I had a 08 Z4 traded it for the bmw 650i and then missed the Z4 so traded again for a 2014 Z4 the 650 was fun especially at stop lights .note: if you buy a used bmw with a V8 let it idle 5 or 10 minutes then hit the gas if it smokes bad valve guide seals
Nice just got my own 06 650i a couple months ago and was looking for something to make it sound louder, it wasn't giving me the rumbles with it stock. Realized exhausts wouldnt be a good investment due to how old the car is and how much it is worth now I might just do the muffler delete on it
When I bought this car from Auto nation (traded 08 z4 plus cash) test drive was great .made the deal ,told them i was taking it to a BMW mechanic the next day .the inspection cost me $100 glad I did.big problem car smoked (blue) valve guide seals and oil leak from alternator bracket gasket .took back to Auto Nation dodge jeep dealership to kill the deal they wanted to fix it lol,not them per say but a BMW shop .a month later and a cost of $6500.00 that they payed I got the car back it was a nightmare. I couldn't tell it was smoking when i drove it but the bmw mechanic let it sit about 5 minutes and hit the gas and WOW .My advice have it checked out by a BMW mechanic or buy a warranty. I just traded it for a 2014 Z4 I like the smaller less complicated car way better on gas.Good luck

Just the video I needed to see 👍😎 Been thinking of doing a muffler delete on my e63 650i and wondered how it could be done to leave the stock tailpipe so it looks stock from the rear. I'm also wondering if the replacement pipe can be clamped in case a future new owner wants to reinstate the mufflers 🤔
Bought a M6 (V10) model..just want to delete the mufflers..not a full straight pipe..will it be necessary to do a software update if I just delete the mufflers only?
I think the muffler is mostly for noise not sure if less back pressure would affect anything. cars computer should make adjustments as far as fuel-air mixer goes. if you do it you'll have to make a video
Like I said in my previous comment contact Thornton tuning and get a stage 3 chip increases your horsepower by 60 takes the 155 mph limit out and makes it a true the 160 mph car
whether its got 60k or 100k miles, they always have the same issues: They burn oil, and leak from certain areas, amongst other things. Get a good pre purchase inspection before you buy it and make sure it doesnt leak

With thicker oil less smoke i used 5w40 or 5w50 and forte seal condictioner now very less smoke

I did a blind buy of an 06 650i, BIG EXPENSIVE MISTAKE!!! 15k later it still has the blue smoke issue so I'm about to check the valve stems seals

im not sure i think the same as existing pipe .had shop cut everything so if I didn't like the sound they could put muf.back on

Muffler shop cut mufflers off only and add pipe extra to come out the back I left the resonators in

No, I only did muffler delete when I bought this car the dealer had to get the top-end rebuild the intake valve seals were bad beware

Make sure when he does the center one he's able to put it back on if you don't like it .you might get a drone sound in the car when your driving
