Great video Daz, not sure the replacement filter is a knockoff mate. Tegiwa wouldn’t brand it as hks if it wasn’t. Sounds great though. Think i went for the yellow foam on my old fn2 hks
Hey Gareth buddy, yes its hard to tell on the authenticity of the filter but for the price it seemed to lean towards a copy, but more than pleased with how they perform. Hey Chris, thanks for giving it a view and dropping a comment, its really so appreciated. I cut the maf sensor housing off the original air box. Hacksaw or a Dremel tool, does the job. Bit of a light sand to get rid of any sharp edges. job done.😁🙏👌👍✌

Hi El Axel. Thanks for taking time to give it a view , its really so appreciated. Being a hot hatch, it sits really well with most of its competitors of its time being a torsion beam rear set up, and not an independent set up like the EP3 Type R before. Used mine for years now and still lv it stock. Lots of lads go for uprated springs or adjustable coil overs for an upgrade after time as we all do with mods.. But stock if you like a firm ride its great. Hope this helps, hope you would like to subscribe for future exciting videos. thanks again👍👍

@@elaxel1469 Hey Axel, the FN2. and the FK2 have very firm rides. The FK8 has comfort , sport, and plus R mode ( track setting) being the latest and most comfortable Type R. It all depends on what your prefer as a driver and your budget. If you want your family to travel in comfort then the FN2 or most hot hatches are not the ideal choice, but you as a driver will have a great time lol !!👍👍

Don't you need to oil it using foam filter oil spray?
Hey blade8768, Thanks for giving it a view its really so appreciated. No oil spray needed on these foam filters, not like the KN ones. 👍✌
@@DAZR09 ahh ok awesome I can relax now I wasn't sure if I had to wax it or not, I obviously didn't when cleaning mine, but someone told me some foam filters need oiling, cheers mate.

Skunk2 better induction kit?
Hey Light Weight, thanks for giving it a view, its really appreciated. Not sure on the skunk 2, but did my HKS, due to lack of funds. Know the Hybrid Racing and CPL perform well as seen dyno run readouts with these kits on.👍
@@DAZR09 i dont have a fn2 yet im on my first car a old preface 1.6 ep2 looking for a fn2 next they reliable and anything to look out for when buying one you not on the fn2 fb group also?
@@Hondafn Cool, If you can pick up an FN2 with a good service history thats great. Look for 3rd gear notchy syncro /clutch and boot leaks on high mileage examples. On a few FN2 pages, Honda EP3 , FN2 Type R and K Swap Tuning and Modification Parts for Sale, being one of them mate.👍
