I didn’t use any new clips from 1071 in case you haven’t seen it yet- which is very likely, considering Crunchyroll crashed an hour ago. But you know the drill: grab a drink, a bite, and listen in on your favorite headphones. :)
When I saw the trailer of gear 5 I decided to give One piece a chance. I’m now at episode 58.
I know I still have a long way to go but I can say it’s now my favorite anime of all time.
If you don't watch the new episodes and spoilers, and just catch up and watch them with the story I promise you will have an amazing time. And by then, there'll be plenty more eps out so you wont be stuck in the week to week during the peak eps

I did enjoy it, but I kinda wish it was more classical animation style with the toon force, but it was great. Manga readers being praised is good, because I don’t really watch the anime, and I want more people to read more manga.

Iv'e seen people debating which transformarion is more iconic between MUI/UI and gear 5. In my honest opinion i think MUI and ui broke the internet and website for much longer than ep 1070 and 1071 as dbs 128-129-139-130-131-121 broke the internet everytime.
Also i think that the only bad thing about the new episode is the pacinng of the fight. Ofc they only did 2-3 moves and just stopped, while in every dbs episodes i mentioned we could actually see how strong the new transformation was. We knew about gear 5 for months too...

it’s a shame one piece, naruto and other longer shows i know i’d like are sooooo long. I’d much rather spend thousands of episodes on different anime than on just one (and tbh i think it’s get boring since there is no way i could be entertained for 1400 episodes long)

I like how you said you think it would get boring when you haven't even experienced any of those shows. Don't judge them if you haven't even given them a chance. And I understand wanting to watch multiple anime. But there's something about a long running show that is different. It becomes a part of your life and you get a bond with it you won't get with a short series.
@@nicky923nk i already have that bond with the dragon ball series, watched it when i was 8 and am now 16. I’ve tried both one piece and naruto, i found naruto more enjoyable than one piece but neither was good enough for me to dedicate loads of my time to finish the whole series. I think i got to episode 130 for naruto and 100 ish for one piece before dropping them both.
I’d much rather watch smaller series no more than 100 episodes than watching a single series with 1000+ episodes. Not saying they’re inherently bad because they’re prolly not but rn in terms of preferences im not into the long running shows atm
