If I'm not mistaken Sabaton released a new album this past year. I'm surprised neither of you included it in your list. Check it out. It's INCREDIBLE!!!

Great picks Laura, and not surprising at all haha. The Beast in Black is another one that was a late release and didn’t have enough soak time with me, but I really enjoyed the times I played it.
@@DarthGrimby also, I ordered Archspire and Brand of Sacrifice's albums during Boxing Week, as I heard many good things about both, but never got around to them yet. Spiritbox was a band that surprised me this year (along with my new found affinity for Deathcore). Did not like them when I first heard them, then heard a live performance of a song and was all in. I think it's the branching together of a Pop music vocal style (she has a wonderful voice) and screaming over a groovy proggy riff-fest that touches on all the right points for me. And, the emotion in the music!
