On axis would be with the speaker pointed straight at you, off axis would be when it was at an angle to the listening position. On axis would be in a kick panel pointed at you off axis would be in a door facing sideways.
I know this is a three year old video, BUT, I just ordered these speakers and have a Clarion APX4240 amp hooked up to my new Alpine iLX-W650 deck. It's a 4 channel amp (was running the speakers and a small sub), is it possible to use the 4 channels for both the woofers and the tweeters, or is that not how the crossovers work? Cheers!
The worst part of what RF does when they sell these and the higher end models is they cheaped out on supplying the required screws needed to secure the tweeters. Hardly anyone has the screws laying around in their garage.
How would you wire these to a amp? I bought two sets of these for my mustang convertible changing everything to these wanted 6.75 for front but whatever, subwoofers will be doing all the bass just want loud crisp sound, how would I power these with a 4 channel amp? Run tweeters front and back together to two channels then the backs to two channels

Thank you for explaining the crossover, I couldn’t find anything on bi amping lol

you forgot the adaptor plates under the x-overs
I really want to get these and toss the crossovers and run them active via my CDA-9815. My only worry is if 84 Watts is too much for the tweeters.
Do they have a good bass without a subwoofer, if they are properly amplified?
Hey bro where you located in NZ? I’m from Christchurch
how did these speakers sound?
Good. I have these
I’m purchasing these components and wondering what amp do I need to get to power them?
100w RMS *4 for four speakers like there at 4 ohms check pioneer gm-8604
this video had me thinking my chair was getting squeaky with the background noise

Run your front channel to the crossovers for these, then the crossovers to the speakers. Channels 3 and 4 go to 2 other speakers
