Niiiice one bro you really hit this one out of the park! 😝🤙🏻 Very knowledgable firsthand experiences from you are always welcome and I do remember when we were picking up our SUV in Jaco you literally went over it with a fine tooth comb including the roof. I remember you saying dudes put surfboards on top and sure enough there were scratches on the roof that you found so great job bro thanks for looking out for us!✨🚙🔍👀✨ Yeeewwww!🎉🍺😎🍺🎉
Exit stamp fee. I just went to Panama through Paso Canaos. Some guy in a uniform was pretending to be a helper, saying you need to pay an additional fee to immigration after you get an exit stamp. It's a Scam. Avoid crossing through Paso Canaos on a Sundays if possible.
Thanks Chenz....We've been here going on 3 weeks and we seen some of what you are talking about...Very informative. Keep up the great work...Look'in forward to the next video.
No matter where you go in CR they are always trying to pull a fast one. Grocery store short you, lunch, dinner, breakfast. And when you catch them. They act like what happened. There’s a dollar sign on all gringos.
You did it again…another excellent and on point video. Amen to all of these tips. Michel and I have been here two years now and we have managed to avoid the scams mostly by adhering to #1: don’t be an obvious tourist. Granted, we’d traveled a bit before coming here, spent a year locked down in Morocco, so we were pretty savvy. Our experience here has been mostly good by comparison. But we’ve seen the things you describe. For sure. Definitely tourist beware.
We need rain over here in cali..barely going into fall and it's still summer weather. You should do a video on bus rides in tiquicia, share the experience.
Our local gas station scammed me. (Santa Ana) I stayed in my car, got my receipt for $90-something and left. Next day I discovered a second charge of $46 about 5 minutes after the first. Gas station manager no help. Disputed with AMEX twice and they came back and said they received documentation. Getting ready to dispute again.
Have you ever thought about being a tour guide? You know all the good inexpensive places and how not to get scammed. I would rather have you show me around than a regular tour guide. When I come to visit would that be possible for you to show me around?
Thank you for having our back! As always---helpful, informative AND entertaining
Thank you Bret!
I always video an take pictures of my car inspection.
My guy that camera is looking movie quality love the new setup

Words of Wisdom, Chenzicus Maximus. I would advise against wearing black socks, sandals and plaid shorts, as well.
Love this, your videos are getting so much better. Wicked to see chenz, we are moving to Bahia Ballena and would love to meet up. 🙌
Nice studio

Never let anyone outside "help" you .. they will just make things more difficult and want your money
