what i love the most is that every battle he wins, it doesn’t actually feel like a victory. there’s always some quiet sadness to it, and i always find myself wondering if there was any way to spare the demons he kills. even the most horrible demons still have sad pasts that make me empathise with them all the more. it’s brilliantly written! 😭😭😢😢

So this is my guess ( i havent read the manga so someone who has can prove me wrong on this) is that i believe bc nezuko never drank human blood and just slept for a long time which probably made her body adapt to the sun like peeling off an old skin and coming out new
