In the original book, Erlang Shen countered every single transformation Wukong managed to put forth, hence he could effortlessly break your transformation in this game while mocking you along the way.
Yep he was the reason wukong was able to get captured by heaven.
He is a tough fellow for sure
@@birdyrage His third eye can detect your transformation and he will turn into an eagle, returning you to your original form. except you turn into that kowtowing stone
He is a attractive character and although it took 3 days to beat him I enjoyed the challenge

LVL 270 here, maxed out on stamina, stances, spells and transformations all fully maxed, 5 relics are being double used and have the best defensive armor set in the damn game. Yet im still struggling on this damn boss. it took me about 3 days to beat him first time.

just use right drink,soaks and right armor
You should be proud , this character beat up Wu Kong way before. Erlang is undoubtedly the most powerful..
I would suggest you to maybe not rely on spells that much, Erlang effortlessly counters them. Instead use the Spell Binder to get extra damage in. Use the soak gourd that gives you Qi, so you can use the Fan more than once. You got this I believe in you!!
@@birdyrage thanks babe i already got his a$$ "the second time" just took me a respectable 6 tries on NG+. but then i got stuck on the damn stone monkey due to having the "elrang special" Qi set up.. those monkeys need the classic wukong 4 charged heavy smacking..
He ain’t the hardest. The Great Sage Broken Shell is doing my head in.

is she even playing the game?? how did she not recognise the character from the intro!??? its not like the character looks like the rest or sounds like the rest of the characters... the frikking black dog should instantly be recognisable... the character is one of the most memorable characters 3 eyes black dog 3 pronged spear white robe etc!!

Theres a rumor that games science thought that there bosses are good but not challenging enough atleast one boss. So they contacted miyazaki and he personally saw Erlang and be like I can fix him. 😂😂
Uh no. They can easily make the game much harder like making Wukong full health when he steals the gourd. It's not a souls game and Erlang isn't that difficult. Yellow Loong was harder.

Yes there’s another “phase” but quite easy tbh. I couldn’t include that part cause my graphics card went crazy during that fight 😃
Erlang divinity looks really good even after beaten up. In reality, Erlang is far more powerful than Wu Kong …
