3:12 He tried to declare 46 000 km of work-related trips in order to get a substantial tax deduction. The deduction is calculated on the basis of kilometres.
Currently in Finland, the deduction for work-related travel expenses in a private car is €0.28/km. The maximum deduction is around €8 000. The deduction is not made directly from taxes but reduces the amount of taxable income.
