    I would like to recommend a very good workshop by Yuriy Ivantsiv Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language. This excellent book will give you answers how to correctly learn a foreign language with a minimum of your time and effort. This book answers many of the questions that everyone faces when learning a language. Good luck with your important work!

    What means "prosze bardzo"?

    • @PolishPod101
      @PolishPod101  6 років тому +2

      Hi Alexey,
      Thank you for your comment.
      "Proszę bardzo" means "You are welcome" (when responding to "thank you") or "go ahead" (when giving something to someone).
      I hope it helps!
      Best regards,
      Hanna

      @Euxiphipops77 3 роки тому +1

      The very literal meaning is "please very".
      You may use it when passing something to someone - the English equivalent would be "here you are"; when inviting someone to sit down or to enter the room - the English equivalent would be "go ahead"; when responding to someone's thanks - the English equivalent would be "You are welcome", although in this case it is more common to translate "you are welcome" as "nie ma za co" which almost literally means "there is nothing (to thank) for".

    what is the difference between (milo mi pana poznac) and (milo mi cibie poznac ).

    • @tipontoe
      @tipontoe 6 років тому +4

      "Miło mi pana poznać" is used in official situations when you meet a person, to whom you want to say "Mister". So it means: It's nice to get to know you, Mister". The second one "Miło mi ciebie poznać" is literally "It's nice to get to know you".

    What is the difference between wiedzieć and znać?

    • @julia0443
      @julia0443 5 років тому +2

      You use "znać" while talking about some object for example "I know that song" (Znam tą piosenkę), "I know your sister" (Znam twoją siostrę). "Wiedzieć" is used for some knowledge "I know you like her" (Wiem, że ją lubisz), "I know something about that" (Wiem coś o tym)

    What does "DZIA DZIA" mean and how do you pronounce it?

    • @PolishPod101
      @PolishPod101  6 років тому +3

      Hi Ted Buck,
      „Dzia” is a slang word and it is used by young people as the short form of „dziękuję/dzięki”. The pronounciation is nothing unique, you can refer to words starting from „dzia”, for example „dziadek” or „działać”.
      I hope it helps!
