This seems like a great product! Could you please post a video showing how to use the app to control the pot from a smart phone? I would like to learn more about the available settings in the app and what kind of instructions it provides. I am thinking about buying a Thermomix TM6, which provides step-by-step instructions directly from an integrated touch screen. If the Instant app can also provide step-by-step instructions, that would be awesome.
8 quart model should have been available on this new model at launch.

The addition of smart control is a nice add. will you be able to control it through alexa and google?

Please make 10qt a standard option for future models for those who have a large family or cook large cuts of meat. Yes, there is the 10qt Duo Nova, but it’s not a flagship model. A removable cord for those wanting to replace/switch between small/long cords.
Additionally, a multipurpose removable lid would definitely appeal to those who own a Ninja® Foodi® 14-in-1 8-qt. SMART XL Pressure Cooker Steam Fryer with SmartLid™ & Built-In Thermometer.
A All in One removable lid would help increase sales and bring in new customers such as myself who love the reputation of Instant Pot that want a flagship multi cooker to have a multipurpose lid not 2 lids or having to opt for a older model. Making it removable would definitely make it stand out from the competition. Excluding features and compatibility from previous models on the newer models does not make sense.
I want the newest design, display, features, functionality and a multipurpose removable lid built into a 10qt multi cooker from Instant Pot. That’s one of the reason I am holding off on buying the Ninja product mentioned above.
Will this be compatible with any of the air fryer lids?

I love the idea of this kind of smart device! But I'm always worried about volumes: I'm in the UK and if I'm cooking with a US recipe (or even if I'm not) I'm liable to have different amounts of meat, at least, to what the recipe asks for. Yesterday I followed a recipe for chicken breast risotto, but used thighs instead and less of it, adjusting appropriately.
This is the one visually impaired folk could use independently with the app and their smart phone.
It would be smart to make an audio described commercial not just images.
It would definitely show a dedication to equal access. I just purchased this model, after downloading Instant Brands app and creating account, device was setup without sighted assistance. The control panel is completely flat, and no tactile distinction like older models. App works quite well, I haven’t tried bump dots yet, so not sure if manual use can be achieved when and if app becomes unusable from a degradation in app accessibility or other app issues. The most important function will be the WiFI for blind individuals, very top right on panel. If device needs reconnection. Cancel is bottom left and also still does factory reset with 3 second press. Start is bottom right on panel.

One doesn't NEED the app to get full function - right? I don't understand why the readouts on the machine appear blacked out.?

Will it remember your Wifi settings are you unplug it, or do you have to reprogram it?
Hi Michael, you should only need to program the Instant Pot Pro Plus once, but if you are having any issues connecting the pot to Wi-Fi, please reach out to our Customer Care team.
Can you manually release pressure? Or only from App??
Great question! Yes, you will be able to release the pressure without using the app! Our Pro Plus does let you select the preferred venting method (Natural Release, Pulse Release or Quick Release) before cooking begins, either in the app or on the unit itself.

@@InstantPotOfficial thx for the tipp - I did so. Everyone else who is looking for this answer. They said the Instant Pot Pro Plus should make it's way to Europe 2022. They could not tell me a date or a month. So let's hope as soon as possible.
