I just received my sidekick leash today . This Asher series is helping sooooooo much with formulating my goal for myself and my dog, and yes, you are so right when you say that we just want to enjoy the nice weather and take the dog for a walk, worry about what the neighbors are thinking, or I feel like I am wasting time doing 30 Uturns and not getting anywhere. I have to bite the bullet and teach my dog to be calm and able to give me attention when we are outside. Now my 10 month old , not altered yet mini golden doodle is not as spacy as Asher, but outside everything distracts him. He is super friendly, passing by people is posiible but not dogs. He wants to meet them. The prong collar I have been using has helped but he seems to start habituating to it. I did 2 short introductory sessions with the sidekick today in my yard. My pup was able to sit calmly with it , as soon as we take a step he fights it by biting the leash although I am holding it short. Any tips?

Good to see something other than quick fix before and after, even if doesn't make for most exciting video. Shaping with a difficult dog takes patience and time!
