This is a pretty awesome DIY! One thought I had at the end though; if you can get some black satin fabric, either make duct tape loops to secure it, or just use glue to secure it to the bottom of the inner box. the fabric will cover the whole inner box and drape over the outside. you can stuff a bit of poly-fill between the fabric and the inner box, then when you put the fabric-covered inner box into your mirrored box, you'll close up the gap between the outer and inner box, and the black satin will make the whole box a bit more finished and fancy. I definitely will follow your instructions for building the mirror box! duct tape holds anything!
@emmy e - Thank you Diva. Excellent suggestions, I was rushing, so couldn't think the whole thing out like I wanted. But, yes, feel free to improve on this d.i.y. and make it even better than I did.
This is awesome! I had most items on hand so i went ahead and made one. I used black electrical tape first ( for those who don't want to use the bling on the corners) it makes the corners look seamless. Then i used a printed duct tape to cover the inside. Thanks for your beautiful inspiration💕 blessings!
Thaaaaaank you for rejuvenating my creative soul!!!🤗💖🤗 As an artist, I previously enjoyed with every inch of my heart creating new items from things I had. I breathed it, lived it!! I became ill & my confidence dropped to 0%😔😔 Watching your fantastic videos have helped me to push away my fears. I have now been getting back into starting to create & make beautiful items/decor/walls etc. NEVER EVER STOP BEING YOUR BEAUTIFUL CREATIVE, ARTISTIC & INSPIRATIONAL YOU!!!!👌🤗🤗 From one Sista to another......Thank you Thank you Thank you with all my heart!!💖💖 ☄✨☄😍From the UK😍☄✨☄
Love the mirrored box. I have not seen one done in a really long time. Thanks for the inspiration. My granddaughter will love it filled with her favorite makeup, for Christmas.
you just made my life a little bit easier . I've seen so many mirror boxes and they all use glue, i don't like the glue. i love this i don;t even have to buy the tape i all ready have everything i need. thank you so much
Your mirror box is beautiful. I am glad u thought of using tape instead of hot glue........I tried the hot glue before and it was the pits..............lol.ending up taking it apart because the sides were a hot mess.............using the bling on the corners is a great idea. I am going to do it your way........looks much much easier. Thanks for sharing and HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO U AND YOURS............BE BLESSED.
@Karen Ross - Yep, the glue was a disaster. Using the duct tape only is the best way to go. You can take your time and be neat and it will look flawless. I just didn't have a lot of battery life so it was little sloppy due to time constraints. Thanks for your positive feedback, have a wonderful Holiday Season Sweetie.
wow you did a really great job on the mirror box. best one I've seen. I just got a makeup vanity and needed some decor ideas. I'll be making one this week. thanks for the great idea😀😍😘💗
@Diana Aguilar - Thank you. I did use E6000 for the gemstones, but the duct tape was just as sturdy, kept the whole box together without seeing tons of nasty glue on the corners. E6000 is great but has a horrible applicator and can get messy real quick.
This came out amazing. I’m so glad you said what you said about the e6000. It is so messy. I like the mirrored bottom and I’d definitely put feet on it like you said.
Thanks Jeanette, you can use the dollar tree silver napkin rings or the clear marble. I don't think the napkin rings come out until the holiday, but the marbles will work as well for feet.
lol I love the pageant wave!!! What a great DIY for those of us that love champagne taste in a beer budget! Thank you for the ideas & inspiration! You have a great voice & personality for YT, I subscribed! Have a great day!
@Gloria Desousa - Thank you! It's not hard I hope my video helped. I know it was kinda choppy but hopefully you got what you needed out of it to create your own mirrored box. Happy Thanksgiving!
Love your youtube name...:) Now I wanted to run to DollarTree after watching you make that stunning Chanel box....might have to make this for my sister as a birthday gift!!! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us!! :)
@Tawanna Luckett - Have fun with it, personalize it and make the project your own. I'm sure your daughter will love the final product. Thanks for coming through.
next time just tape one side while it's laying flat then bring them together viola! Do the same with the base...just bend them back slightly until you position it then press against the walls. I was about to have a heart attack watching you fight that tape! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PROJECT!!! Can't wait to do it!
Very beautiful! I did what you did and it came out amazing (and I love Chanel too!!!) oh btw those beautiful branches behind you are a tad too even. Pull a few up higher so they are all different heights. So pretty!!!!

gary savage this isn't my video, it's by One Hip Sistah. She's pretty awesome tho, right?
Yes, duct tape can't fix stupid though. Ha, ha just trying to make everyone laugh.

@Tamara Deneweth - Your more than welcome. I'm sure your will come out great!!
This came out beautiful but a quick tip use E6000 its very sturdy its for these type of projects😊
@Diana Aguilar - Thank you. I did use E6000 for the gemstones, but the duct tape was just as sturdy, kept the whole box together without seeing tons of nasty glue on the corners. E6000 is great but has a horrible applicator and can get messy real quick.
I was just thinking this because that tape is soooo tacky
Diana Aguilar and you put bling on the seems so that would’ve covered any glue that may have shown.
@@mollyedmonds3979 , then how would you bend the pieces? I think the tape, is to make it flexible, so she can bend it in a shape.
I love it its beautiful!!! TFS..
WOW! That's BEAUTIFUL!
I love this great job I love anything chanel

This came out amazing. I’m so glad you said what you said about the e6000. It is so messy. I like the mirrored bottom and I’d definitely put feet on it like you said.
Thanks Jeanette, you can use the dollar tree silver napkin rings or the clear marble. I don't think the napkin rings come out until the holiday, but the marbles will work as well for feet.
