More of that humor! I would watch you review anything if you could incorporate more of that humor. I think you have great comedy delivery.@@AustinGYoung
I got the 35L and the main opening does open clamshell on that style. It also has a separate divider that comes with it, side handles so you can carry briefcase style, and a luggage strap. Overall the 26L is probably better but I wanted something that could pack 3-7 days and not look too weird.
I went to see this bag in the North Face store after seeing your review. They didn't have the black one. And I don't like big branding. What would you suggest as covering for the logo. I was thinking of using black electric tape once I decide to get the black one.
I think you could use Sharpie or another pen! Tape could also work. I may be slightly noticeable that you tried to cover it. I'm interested to see what works for you.
it looks like a more comfortable version of my TNF duffle. also, i think its quite unacceptable that they don't weatherproof their bags, especially as an outdoor brand
@@AustinGYoung really! i had no idea that they labeled it as that... even more shocking. i Just used the duffle for a long haul trip and it worked really nice as a cabin bag, on the way out to have a spare set of clothes (along with my electronics) but on the way back as i bring a lot of glasses/plates and odd shaped things back so the fact its a bucket works well. only thing im not keen on is the placement of the laptop compartment, i often stuck it inside the bag at the top of the load to avoid pressure. but i really like the bag overall i didnt get caught in rain so not sure about that tho
If you want a more water resistant duffel backpack look into the regular TNF base camp, the exterior material is much more water resistant. Also, the pack in this video should be pretty water resistant. You wouldn't really ever experience pressurized water directed directly on the zippers. @@velyvely6479
@@velyvely6479 to be fair the bag is water resistant, just not water proof, it's very difficult to make products hundred percent water proof, it will probably be fine in some light rain hehe
@@bella11110 yes it would probably fair up in light rain, i just think its such a shame they don't use different zips to help keep it more sealed from rain,
I watch your videos all the time, your videos are very beautiful. But do you know why your videos views, likes and subscribers are not increasing. Because your videos are not being marketed in the right way. As a result, despite your good content, you are missing out on a good result. I can talk more about this with you if you want. I will wait for your response. Thank you

Just clicked on this video, the first seconds are crazy😂😂😂
What a fantastic video, that's how a bag review should look like!
Glad you liked it!
Your dry deadpan humor is hilarious. I wish you added more to your video.
Thanks, Josh! What else would you have liked to see?

Picked up a 35L for $50 the other day at a North Face outlet store. I am really happy with it.
wow thats a great price!
Great video. I think I’m going to purchase this bag now. Glad your laptop is fine but the realization it was in there was hilarious.
Thanks so much for the review, the last parts is exactly what I was looking for
Perfect review! Honestly it’s what made me buy it lol
I ended up buying a roll-top version of this. Mainly because it was on sale, but also for rain protection...
Loved the review! Thanks the good work your put into this video! Keep it up! I hope the laptopt is ok.
Helpful review with good humor too! 😆
Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice video thanks
How is your laptop after the water test?
It survived after drying it for a few hours! Luckily it was turned off

I know! TNF markets the bag as water resistant too! A little misleading but overall still a good bag. What do you think of the TNF duffle?

I don't understand why in 2024 they have not found a great solution to get waterproof bags with lots of pockets with waterproof zips everywhere.
Hope your laptop is safe, mate
1:38. You have some serious pelvic tilt
Good observation! It used to be worse and I had back pain before. But I've been working on stretching my hip flexors which has helped.
Great to hear. Maybe I should try some stretching myself :)@@AustinGYoung
