Great advice to others. I knew a person who never smocked but others smoked heavily in front of him.He got lung cancer and died. His family got compensation from the bus company. He was a driver.

Try nicotine only pouches all the buzz no chemicals. Still an addiction but it has shown to not cause cancer like dip or smoking

I have not been to that airport but the masajid in Turkey usually have power outlets, so i think the musallas in the airport would have them too
I was a smoker who smoke 1 packs every day and i left cigarette for last 1 months. Now i am a ex Muslim. That was a good change for me.

Even drinking alcohol is not prohibited because it's supposedly unhealthy but only because it's an intoxicant. Sort of the same goes for pork: not prohibited because it's supposedly unhealthy.

Great advice I agree on this matter but the disparity between some sins compared to smoking cigarettes makes them think it's such a small issue. I live in a Muslim country. Muslims smoke cigarettes like it's nothing but alcohol it is a major no-no.

The ijma on smoking is that is it Haram due to his harmful effects on not only the person but others. Using frowned upon as an excuse to keep smoking shows the level of your faith. You are deliberately inhaling poison, and you think this is only frowned upon 🤦🏽♂️

the problem is as someone who have breathing problems most of the time when someone smoke near me i cant sleep for at least 2 days from nose and chest pain

Nicotine is addictive. Most cigarettes have a lot of harmful chemicals in them. Easiest way to get cancer. Tobacco smell irritates people who don't smoke. Hence it is very disturbing to go into a mosque smelling like tobacco. Yeah,..., but it's makrooh. A daily glass of wine is healthy. So IMO that is also halal.
