Really appreciate the thorough review - it's been a longtime in development. Can't wait to get these out to the world!
Another great video Cody! Neurable has a fantastic discord channel too. Very excited with their upcoming headphones.
Thanks Ben, much appreciated, glad you like the episode and I appreciate your continued support!
Nice video! such an exciting time for the field!
It's next-level! Thanks for watching.

Awesome review Dr Cody :) Now you have experienced both Muse and Neurable, do you have a preference of one over the other? Cheers
This is awesome Cody! Just a question for you regarding the headphones, are they Wifi-oriented as well as Bluetooth similar to the Neurosity Crown?
It's all Bluetooth! Great question, I should have included that in the vid. Thanks for watching Luke.
Thanks for the great video!
Do these allow the user to benefit from long term effects or instead of brain training they only provide an immediate mental state? Thanks
The Doctor....Always on point !❤
Thanks man!
Good afternoon, Cody Roll!
Thank you for helping me navigate the world of neurotechnology.
I have a question. Please tell me, how do the devices help in the fight against age-related myelin depletion?
And one more question. Tell me, please, do devices use transcranial direct current stimulation to activate creative thinking?
love this. do you think there will be discount code for preordering? also can the data measured be imported to chatgpt for further analysis the same way you did it for muse band? thanks
I am not sure about any discounts for pre-ordering. I will be uploading reports to ChatGPT!
Curious what your thoughts are on the FlowTime headband?
No discount code for pre-order Neurable?
Similar device to Neurable is the enophone and has been on the market for a while can you review and compare
@7:30 So the headphones can measure and the ai software may be able to tell me to take a break, but can it tell when I'm about to make a major mistake? Can it predict a focus loss and control for that? Can it intervene and give advice? How close are we to that?
What? Yes! Of _course_ I love Supreme Leader with all my heart! I've been a loyal party member my whole life! Wait! No! Please, I'm innocent! Please! Noooooooo.....!
As neurocientist and music enthusiast I am looking forward to try these. Can EEG data be exported? How easy it is to access raw data? I would really like to run some analyses on my own data in the same way I read my heart BPM at the end of each day.
I don't think they have announced if raw EEG data can be accessed or not. I will definitely suggest that they do so, because I know a lot of people want that. Adam and Ramses are Neuroscience enthusiasts so I wouldn't be surprised if they make that an option.
You will be able to get the raw data and the Neurable cleaned data.
Thanks for sharing doctor. A question: I am a meditation practitioner and I am interested in your suggestion, among so many devices, which one can tell me in real time through sound the brain frequency I have during meditation? I don't look for feedback on a screen after meditation, something to let me know without having to see what brain wave I'm cultivating in meditation. Is there anything like that on the market today?
Would love something like this as well. Not sure if there's anything like this available.
Not that I am aware of but that is a great suggestion. I'll mention it to a few companies and see if they would design something.
Just pre-ordered let's goo... Hopefully this is more reliable than the halo sport...
Let's GOOOO!!! Haha. Love it. Yes this has immediate and tangible results, Halo was more difficulty to quantify.
How do you think you would use the Neurable Headphones?
@@CodyRallMD first off Master and dynamic are very solid cans... I would like to use this to gauge meditation.. muse s and Neuro-rythem got me pretty far but I'm hoping this will take me the rest of the way.... I used meditation to get sober and had great results
Pundents?????
amazing
Would be interesting to see how they work on people with long hair
Most of the signal is picked up behind the ear, so long hair is not an issue!
I'm eagerly awaiting the tech that will teach me to reach the jhanas without having to meditate for hours on end. Stephen Zerfas and the other people at Jhourney are working on exactly that, and it sounds like Neurable could be a big step in that direction, too.
Potentially but they are not focusing on meditation at the moment. What is the Jhourney project, do you have a link?
@@CodyRallMD Five minutes ago, I tried to give you a link, but UA-cam deleted my comment. Flagged as spam, maybe? I didn't even use a real URL; I substituted the word "dot". Google the word jhourney.
@@CodyRallMD UA-cam is shadowbanning my comments. They keep disappearing. Google the word jhourney.
@@CodyRallMD God damn it! My comments keep disappearing! Google the word jhourney.
Seems like we have to wait at least two years for that
I went to the neurable website and it appears like their headset is just used to track your focus. Can't people tell on their own when they are distracted? Why do you need an app to notify you of that? How does the headset actually help to improve focus if all it does is track data? It was not clear on their website, nor in your video.
Thanks for the comment, self-awareness is a huge component of focus training. In my opinion, it increases your mindfulness which has been shown to improve focus and cognitive fatigue (take a look at Peak Mind by Amishi Jha). There should a focus enhancing music feedback loop component of it as well.
@@CodyRallMD I see. Thanks for the response.
Nice video, but seems like an infomercial for Neurable. I'm an early investor, and so wish the company every success. But if you were paid any promotional fees by Neurable, you gotta disclose per FTC rules. Can you confirm no money or other consideration changed hands for this Neurable endorsement?
Neurable did not pay me anything for this video.

too much of a fluff piece to my taste but very nice editing , coverage and mentioning neural ethics.
Would you rather just the device review information than following me around Vblog style? I wanted to show what it is like to see things from my perspective, rather than just talking about it in the studio. I've been trying both types of videos but the ones that are more educational or get straight to the review seem to be better received. Is that what you would prefer? Thanks!
@@CodyRallMDi think it's about the best piece on these headphones on UA-cam or anywhere else. But that's the problem, there's next to NO info on then, other than the regular MD-75 headphones.
I am close to clicking pre-order but "idk maybe spring, maybe summer" is not an acceptable estimate for delivery if I'm spending $650. And the tech is not all that well defined, just "focus graph go up graph go down". That's not a ton of functionality for how much they hype the tech. I could code a simple eye & browser window tracker that probs does it more accurately. The promise of more functionality like control, mood, is not well defined and is again, "sometime in the future maybe"
I still think I'll get them, just hope they Neurable doesn't come out with a vastly superior, incompatible (and probably cheaper) upgrade in a year and we're just stuck with focus graph up, focus graph down.
Love you Cody, but maybe showing tossed out idiots speaking jibberish about the tech at multiple videos isn't the best counter argument that can be made for the tech??
Haha, I feel like I need to show what is going on in the media surrounding the topic to give things context. Mostly for new viewers at this point.
@@CodyRallMD appreciate it, just so much fear-mongering, you know? Esp around tech...
@@CodyRallMD btw, I volunteered for that ultrstraound program, thanks for the recommendation! (here's hoping...)
I went through all the videos on wef channel for davos, and the "concerns" video that shocked me paradigmatically i watched live is gone. Ready to mass ship by April at 700 a unit. shocked again , highly lets say "thought provoking" that this tech blind sided the world and is ready for mass deployment at low price point in months with no chatter about in development, smells like a duck.
What does "smells like a duck" mean? That it will be a dud?
@@ryanjames3907They had a an Indiegogo campaign, search “Neurable Enten,” in early summer 2021, and have been putting out regular updates since then. I personally went to their office and tested a working prototype in February 2022, so this has certainly not come out of nowhere. Their partnership with MD was announced in November or December I think, and the “Enten” product was renamed to the MW75 Neuro
Hey @ryanjames3907, Neurable is actually 10 years old. Built from Dr. Ramses Alcaide’s Ph.d. Work on AI signal processing for eeg. The company has collected 6000 people worth of data to build their models, has 9 published papers and is the only BCI company validated by the DOD and Mayo Clinic. Google search can give you even more background on the decade of work it took for them to get this level of performance
