I am watching your video from Blackpool, England, on a horrible dark December day, and it is so nice to see beautiful fabrics and hear your kind words. I shall now go and sew my lovely brown velvet cardigan. Happy Holidays to you all. Sally Gould

That is gorgeous and looks beautiful on you. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am grateful for you - you have changed sewing for me, made it fun, made it easier and faster. I've just learned so much in the short time I've been watching you. My only regret is I didn't find you sooner! Thanks so much to you and your team for all you do! :)

If using velvet to make slacks, skirt, dress or anything in which you will be sitting, cut the pieces with the nap running up to avoid leaving "pressed" mark/s from when sitting can compress the fibers in the nap.

I wish it was cold in Australia so I could wear velvet for Christmas . I'll have to wait until July and then it doesn't get cold in the tropics..

Poly velvets release microplastics. Plastic based materials aren't sustainable and to push them is just idiotic.
