As much as I don't like the new characters, they are a breath of fresh air, it's about time SML started introducing new characters instead of the same old same old. Also, if you watched his latest vlog, he's gonna add a ton of new more characters, including a girlfriend for Junior.

Yea some people are analyzing it way too much. This was a good setup video with good jokes that got me to laugh a few times. I think Sprinkle can be funny definitely in a school setting. Also Logan says he wants to start another school series! First grade and summer school were really good!
dabhdude, you need to check out Chilly’s newest video, Logan got a bunch of new puppets and there’s going to be a lot of new characters! There’s some humans and a few monsters. He brings up a few ideas including getting Junior a girlfriend and Jeffy having a booger monster and Cody’s Mom getting shrunk.

I did actually give a critique about this matter about putting random images as thumbnails that don't really relate to the video and also the fact that his mic his really loud but he's not listening to the comments which makes me think dabhdude ignores all comments and critiques about his yt channel and refuses to change.
Glitchtrode my problem is more with the fact that the thumbnail includes school shooters. If he showed a picture of something else random, I wouldn't like it, but the fact that mass murderers are in the thumbnail makes it worse.
I give this a 6.5 out of ten. It's okay but the new characters are annoying and bog down the video. The things I like is the fact that they shook up the status quo with this video and this video was funny at times. But being funny isn't really a compliment in my eyes because comedy is subjective. Also I always assumed that Judith & Tyrone adopted Cody.
Nicktendo is awful, but have you seen OTHER SML Animators. There's this one animator named Micheal Buesta (I might've gotten the name wrong.) He makes absolutely beautiful animations. Of course, his animations are sometimes shorter than Nicktendo videos, but he puts aside months to make an SML animation, and it is very much worth it. So I think you should go check him out.

Most people didn’t like this one, but I did, because at least he had good jokes and humorous bits in it, like the older vids. Tbh it’s the best I’ve seen in almost a year.
The voice acting is great for the new characters. I’d like to see more of Sprinkle and how she interacts with the other characters not shown in the video. I can definitely see potential in her with Joseph for a while, and maybe Toad comes in later and takes her. With this character now in the mix, I can see a rise in character development for Joseph, and also a little bit for Junior - now the only single one in the group. Boo-Kesha will most likely stay. It’ll be funny to see Judith and her go back and forth, and I’m sure it’ll be fun filming as well. Overall, I’m looking forward to these new characters, plus more to come.

Joseph is still a egotistical and cool stereotype before and Black Yoshi was the same as these characters but, more likeable in the older SML episodes. I think, Morty Mole, Daisy and Old Toadsworth (even though, i haven't play the N64 games by knowing about the Toadstool characters) I'd rather watch Super Mario Kart by SMGA anyday.

This video has the problem of How Black Yoshi Stole Christmas, where the plot setup takes way too long before the poroper part of the video starts, except it doesn't. You keep thinking, this must just be the setup, where is the main portion of the video but then it just ends. Not to mention I didn't find a single joke even slightly funny in this episode. "Ha Ha they're black that's funny" can only go so far before you need to use that for actual jokes, which there were none of. 2/10.
