@@theX24968Z They really need to work with AMC, MJR, or another major theater chain, to convert come of their theaters to this model, this would help the theaters make money, and help them pay for the licensing fees. They just need to collaborate to achieve success, everyone wins, NFL wins, AMC/MJR wins, they win. GG.
I’ve tried to get a few theaters to do something similar in my city and they said they have NFL licensing issues and legally they have to have a certain amount of Hollywood films playing at a given time. They’re missing out.
I just looked up ticket prices they’re very affordable. They start at $39 and if you want level two at least these are the prices in Dallas they were 70+ dollars each I consider that very affordable for what you’re getting. Just in case someone else wondered how much this cost so right now they only have two locations LA and Dallas.
How far did you get with your plan? Were you aware of these guys trying to do the same thing? What was the major roadblock that stopped you? Has to be enormous amount of capital required and seems like the tech to broadcast or stream this like they do wasn't even close to practical 15 years ago.
I mean, are actual games affordable for the average fan? Even at the early stages, this seems cheaper than good seats at any games I want to attend. I'd give it time..
Depends how you define affordable and practical. Tickets that close to the NBA game shown in the piece would surely cost thousands. I believe a commenter here said the 2nd level was $100 and 3rd level was $40. And that's in LA where things are more expensive and I imagine an evening ticket to a movie is at least $20.
Surprised Meta didn't jump in to pitch the VR experience with maybe like a middle front row camera. Actually back on Xbox 360 they let you watch Netflix together in a digital theater with your friends in your avatar state. They need to bring that concept back.
I would love to see that soon in Western New York have a full menu of like Buffalo style food and have bulls football and basketball games, and bills, games and Sabres games and bison games
I mentioned this concept to one of my friends a few years ago, but in my vision, you don’t even need a stadium. Everyone pays the right to view specific seats virtually either in a group or at home. The expense of the stadium is removed, but anyone could have the best seat as well. You could have all games being played at an inexpensive location and great facilities, but what the viewing audience sees is the production version.
Noooo i dont need a bar and 100 people and rather be in person to watch the world is closing piece by piece as a choice i can sit home watch the game alone or go to the game
This seems very cool but how much is it to go? I’m sure there’s a fee just to be there, before you even buy any food and drink. This concept is competing against the literal in-stadium experience at their costs, the sports bar with no entrance fee, just the cost of your food and drink, and home which is free and where we have have big LED screens with surround sound.
Every movie theater needs to have this I hope AMC or regal pick this up and put this in the movie theater then the movie theater will be back on the map
Nice if you will use this, but I still would prefer my 150 inch projector which is immersive as well, and I dont have to spend big money on the snacks or share a restroom.
🍿🎭 this could save dying movie theaters. But Ryan Reynolds & Rob McElhenney need to jump on this and host Wrexham A.F.C. matches here in the states! ⚽️ 🥅
Every movie theater in the nation needs to try this.
they won't, they can't even get the funds to get the licensing for these events

@Held back from evolution by the forces that survive on a dwindling well of Nostalgia.
Sad.
I guess they will just buy them out after the Bankruptcy.
@@StephTerry-c2yThey're not close to the technology at your local theater. But eventually this is the future
I’ve been sitting court side in my VR headset!
Hey bro i have a quest 2. How do i go about watching it?
Yes, VR is the next best thing for this!

Should be free with your TV subscription
Not for the Super Bowl. Super bowl prices in LA start in the hundreds
Thanks for this. That's the one question I had after watching this segment. Would be a cool experience
Is food included or just your seat for the prices you mentioned?
Awesome. Movie Theaters should have tried something similar to this a long time ago.
Images seem distorted. Is that just our perspective not viewing in person?
It just seems that way on camera.
Would love to see one of these in DC, Philly or New York
Finally, I can sit in the front row!
Right hell now u can sit on 50 yard line lol
We agree! The food is SOOO Important! It really elevates the experience! 🔥
The USA is currently obsessed with Huge High definition 'Jumbo trons' & I'm in love 😂 I think cause Everything in USA is an advertisement Lol
Kinda seems like a cheap version of the Sphere in Vegas. But still very cool.
Google reviews 3.7 in LA and 3.5 in Dallas 🤔 Seems like would be higher
I had a business plan for this in 2009, they got to it first, great job. At least I know my imagination is practical.
Yeah but the big challenge is can they secure the rights? Is NBC for example going to let their cameras in to showcase a SNF game.

Mind blowing as hell!!
i saw toy story, sea creatures, nascar and dinosaurs on an imax screen like this 15 to 20 years ago
I went there and had an amazing orcasm😁
No mention of cost? Terrible oversight.
40 to 100 usd
@@aynrandom3004total ripoff 😂
This looks amazing, can’t wait to experience it.
This is so cool 😮❤
It’s probably the same price as sitting courtside.
$40-$70
Movie theaters should incorporate this. It would be an awesome experience.
The millennium falcon flying straight towards you.
they have for 30 years. imax
they can't.
I've heard about the LA place. Bet it's not affordable to the average fan, though...

They will have movies playing during off season or down time
Coming soon
That would be amazing.
Nice! Looks good!
Love the celtics excitement !! Sean Grande did well!!

I will have it on in the uber in orlando

Would love to see this application to the worlds of NASCAR and WWE
Beautiful just Beautiful! Valued time, experience and food! WOW!

Convince them to broadcast images that you get from there field court or cameras LMAO interesting
Wonder how much tickets cost 🤔

I wonder where these screens are coming from
Unimpressive
I’m curious what the profit margins are the price seems way too low
the money is made in the selling of food and drinks

This would save the theater business. They already have upgraded the kitchens and seating.
Dang 😮 Alright
It looks like they have finally fixed the "Hockey" problem. Yes.
Dope 🔥🔥🔥
so its an imax theater
$300 per person, no thanks
This is dope💯
Umm no.
yeah, digital schmigital

It's not going to be affordable to the average person, even if it starts off being affordable

Meanwhile, games are still broadcase in 720p on normal channels 🫤
I thought it was VR cause you can watch games too
How can you do that?
Ayo!!!!!!!!!!!!!’
Bring that to Philly
I lived in Dubai during the 2022 World Cup and they did this in their movie theaters!
What a waste
People have to much money to throw away...... maybe once a year, but otherwise it is unaffordable to the average person.
