@@yeeyeemfs7055 First tell me do u know the reactivity series of metals
@@neilkamalseal3413 can't really say I know much about it but, isn't it the order of a metals reactivity from highest to lowest?
@@yeeyeemfs7055 Yes. And in this series there comes some metals in series then comes hydrogen and then some other metals. Well let me demonstrate how I have read it and memorised when I was young
K, Na, Ca, Mg, Zn, Al, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, St, Pb,H, Cu, Hg, Ag,Au, Pt
It starts with K which is Pottasium and ends with Platinum. This is the basic reactivity series. Here you can see, Pottasium is the most reactive metal while Gold and Platinum are the least.
So the general reactivity rule is the highest reactive element can replace the lower reactive metal from its compounds. Hence if you put an Iron rod in Copper Sulphate solution(blue)overnight, it will turn into Iron(Ferrous)Sulphate solution( light green) while you will see copper in powder form is deposited as residue. Fe+ CuSO4----------> FeSO4+ Cu (solid residue)

For those who don't know. The Canadian penny is a discontinued currency and no longer counts as an illegal action to break it down into its elements. It cost the Canadian government 1.6 cents and so they made that law to make sure people wouldn't just break them down and sell the raw elements as some kind of weird money scheme.
Now I want to see people clean pennies like this - so satisfying
Just like Canada, which abolished pennies years ago. Did you know that it _costs_ *more* than a penny to _make_ a penny? [For the government of the USA and Canada, which is why the latter no longer uses pennies.] What a waste. ⋆gasp!⋆ 💡 The entire USA could do this trick!

Results will be different if the penny was minted after 1982. That year, the US Mint changed the one cent coin composition from 95% copper to Zinc with a thin copper coating. You can easily remove the copper coating with sandpaper.
And if you scrape just a little of the copper off of the side of the penny and put the penny in a bag of Taco Bell hot sauce and leave it next to a window for several months the hot sauce will destroy the zinc leaving only the copper because science I guess. I don’t know. Probably magic.
