@@petermartin4807 I'd say this band probably does as good as could reasonably be expected, but Harrison's voice is sorely missed. There is a certain bite and zestiness on the riffs in the studio version which are probably very hard to duplicate as well. I give them an A, if the original is A+.
Beautiful Powerful lyrics in this song....and all TRUE...I believe George was quite evolved spiritually ...wonder whal level in the Astral World hes at now.....proably the 5th level
@@petermartin4807 Yes, but you have to give them an "A" for trying! I don't think there's anyone out there that can do just as good. These guys are excellent!
Aside from the fantastic reprise, what I really appreciate is the great camera work and video editing that allows us to see how those famous musical phrasings are enacted. Great stuff!
The most underrated Beatle song! George was sooo talented, he not only wrote this song himself, but did it using a recently learned instrument! No other beatle did this!!! Beautiful song George! Thank you! I loved it from day one!!!
@@jeffreykaufmann2867Even though I have this as my lowest ranked Sgt Pepper’s song, that just proves how amazing the album is that even the worst one (for me) is still a fantastic song
I love this song, the use of sarangi, sitar and tabla in a sincere, legitimate way, complete with true Tintal pattern. The Western-Eastern instrumental interplay was a bold and original effort in 1967, and still stands as a model of high achievement, musicality and artistry. In this way, Harrison was a true pioneer and visionary, not to mention the profound text and accessible melody. This is one of my favourite songs on the Sgt. Pepper album. Bravo for a fine performance!
This makes the hair on my arms stand on end every time I listen to it. Had the fortunate pleasure to see it performed live in Brussels AB earlier this year. The dedication is jaw dropping. Absolutely fantastic musicianship of every single artist.
incredible instrumentation and players (especially the guy on tabla drums), I close my eyes and vision George and Ravi playing on the banks of the Ganges
I remember hearing this song for the first time my mind was blown coz this was like something I've never heard before and now to see someone perform it live ,I have goosebumps right now George would be so proud of you guys
alot of truth in this song if u have the ears to HEAR it...are you AWAKE..or still sleeping in the ILLUSION of this Earth dream your living in...namaste.
I was pushing 17 when Pepper came out, and I, totally loving the small bits of sitar in Norwegian Woods and a few other songs, absolutely fell in love with Within You, Without You when I first heard it. All of my friends hated it, thought it ruined the album, so I mostly listened to it alone. I'm so happy to hear this cover; you absolutely nailed it.
...and to think back to the days when I was in 8th grade and used to skip over this song. I just didn't understand it, musically, nor was I open so these types of sounds. I lacked life experience to appreciate the lyrics. I think it often gets overlooked and that it's George's best work
Unbelievable! Incredible! Fantastic! I thought I'd seen ALL the most amazing things associated with the Beatles, this this comes along. I am stunned. It brought tears of joy!
Thank you for sharing this with a world that really needs it!! It is a great tribute to the Beatles & most of all George Harrison!!! What a great remake!! Absolutely incredible!!!!!!
Thank you for this fine performance. The visual is also beautiful, with all those warm wood colors. You guys made me feel the spirit of this song. It was deeply felt and perfectly executed.
A spectacular cover of George Harrison's first on-record performance of Indian music. George and his mentor Ravi are smiling in heaven as they play poker with gnomes
if i attend their concert, i will not bother sitting because i have to gave standing ovation everytime they finish play a song. What an incredible talents!
I am in complete awe of these people! I've not heard of them, but what a song to be introduced to them with! This is my absolute favorite George Harrison song, and these guys nailed it perfectly.
La mansa pega que implica hacer un cover de esta canción, me imaginaba el proceso de ensayos, esto necesita de muchísima atención y conexión para poder lograrlo, y ellos lo lograron ¡Gran desafío, se pasaron!
Amazing, I remember hearing this for the 1st time, it blew me away, but then hearing it with a very special sugar cube just took me to a whole different dimension
We were talking about the space between us all And the people who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion Never glimpse the truth Then it's far too late When they pass away We were talking about the love we all could share When we find it, to try our best to hold it there with our love With our love, we could save the world, if they only knew Try to realise it's all within yourself No one else can make you change And to see you're really only very small And life flows on within you and without you We were talking about the love that's gone so cold And the people who gain the world and lose their soul They don't know They can't see Are you one of them? When you've seen beyond yourself then you may find Peace of mind is waiting there And the time will come when you see we're all one And life flows on within you and without you
I ordered all four Blu-rays and all four CD's direct from their website and have been enjoying them since. They are all-region or region-free. They look and sound excellent.
What Beatles revival band would ever be bold enough to play ‚Within You Without You?‘ This is absolutely AMAZING! My deepest respect.
Rain
One that can play a sitar!
I've never heard anybody even attempted to cover this song.
Not only they did it, but they also did it so perfectly.
Really? Check this live version out. ua-cam.com/video/cTG7M6sEZfQ/v-deo.html
They’re the best Beatles cover band on the planet.
its amazing
You should hear their version of Revolution 9
An incredibly perfect tribute to the spirit of George Harrison. He lives on through people like you.
Good try but they don't come close to George and Ravi Shankar

Mesmerizing song and performance. A great tribute to George and the Beatles.

And the people who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion
Never glimpse the truth

When they pass away
We were talking about the love we all could share
When we find it, to try our best to hold it there with our love
With our love, we could save the world, if they only knew
Try to realise it's all within yourself
No one else can make you change
And to see you're really only very small
And life flows on within you and without you
We were talking about the love that's gone so cold
And the people who gain the world and lose their soul
They don't know
They can't see
Are you one of them?
When you've seen beyond yourself then you may find
Peace of mind is waiting there
And the time will come when you see we're all one
And life flows on within you and without you
