One girl called Whitley out for holding hands with Dwayne and Whitley just went off all dramatically like “HE’S MY MAN and I’m standing by him!” I swear I laughed so hard, that’s one of my top 2 favorite Whitley moments 😂

Their chemistry on screen was majestic. Those writers back then were so in tuned with the actors to bring to life their words from paper to life. Will we EVER get to see this type of writing style that brings chemistry on screen together again. PURE TALENT THROUGH AND THROUGH!!!!

She even asked the writers for a copy of the pilot script and used it as her template for creating Living Single.
