I first heard this song during a mushroom trip in 2019. After years of struggling with addiction, this song brought me to my knees and opened up something in me I never thought I could. Fast forward to June 2021 and I've been clean for months. Still currently in rehabilitation process for alcohol, and the lyrics to this song showed up on my memories, reminding me of a time I'd not yet blossomed... Happy to say not only have I survived addiction, grief from losses, ptsd... i've learned to grow and blossom around it all and am looking forward to the rest of my life. Thank you Kerli.
Stay strong and remember that everything takes it's time. Do not punish yourself.
Kerlis music has helped me too with "addiction" to prescribed medicines, and I have quit so much that I never thought I would be able to. 😃

This is definitely something in between Love Is Dead and Utopia. More poppy than Love Is Dead but much deeper and moodier than Utopia was. I can dig it.

+Philip Whitehead It's highly electronic, but much more ambient than Utopia... Which is a good thing, because personally I'm a huge fan of ambient music, but Utopia seemed just forced and pretentious to me.
This is much more like the Kerli I know and love from good old Love is Dead days, just maybe a bit more mature and less pubescent when it comes to the angst-ridden lyrical themes. Haha!

The worst that I thought about Utopia was that she was showing people that she had learned some new tricks, not to mention that she had grown as an artist, a songwriter and as a person.

Idk why everyone refers to Love Is Dead as such a dark album. Walking on Air, Beautiful Day and several other songs had such a positive message and vibe to them. Love Is Dead was the only real "dark" song on there. She's always been positive in her music and she's only improved on that. I feel that this is very reminiscent to the Love Is Dead era but is very new and fresh all at the same time.
Yes, there are positive songs in the album but she admitted the inspiration came to her when she was struggling. She went through some heavy depression.
