Lobsters are probably my least favorite enemy. Who decided they should have high damage, fast attacks, nigh infinite poise, and a 50. Cal sniper rifle?
They are pretty easy to cheas though, use horse go behind there claws where they have there middle joint part and if you go forward you can just hit it without it can ever attack you back.
The sheer dispair at mohgwyn palace was hilarious and was made all the better by the suggestion to use the chainsaw glitch. One of the moat satisfying workarounds to a problem in a challenge.

This run kind of makes me want a "The Shattering" mode where the world gets populated by soldiers, bosses, and minibosses, but they are all fighting each other as well as you. I love a good free-for-all
Honestly, I would love that. I would love an Elden Ring game set in the midst of war, not after it’s all gone to shit. Imagine having to fight your way through armies at the gates of Leyndell, ballistas landing on all sides. Everyone is fighting everyone and you. All leading to a final climactic battle with Morgott as the battle rages outside the arena. That would be so cool.
I agree that it would be really awesome. The closest thing we have was in Dark Souls 2 where you could enter the memories of the battles between giants and soldiers.
The Mohgywn Palace Arc is the best piece of Elden Ring Epic I ever seen, the conflict, the torture, the hopelessness, the desperation and the final resolution is so beautiful I want to cry so hard when you finally pass through it with the most badass way possible. Amazing run, 100/10.
I have watched this countless times. It’s my favorite ER run ever, and it never gets old. I also went through a tough bout of depression for a few months, and watching this really helped me on more than a few occasions. Other than that, I will forever await the sequel.
The only tweeks I would have picked, other than fixing the Albinoric/Ancestral Archer mix-up, would have been adding a couple more common enemy replacement choices, like Virgin Abductor, Imps, Pests, Hands, Dogs, and some of the mini bosses that become common enemies later, juuuust to give you a chance at walking into a room and being able to move lol. Also setting all enemies to have friendly fire on, so they can just get in eachothers way as much as yours. Cuz just imagine that beach, with them stumbling all over eachother to murder you.
I don't know why Mohg Sentinel is so funny but I couldn't stop laughing about it even halfway into the run and Rykard being a perpetual gatekeeper was pure gold. Morgott being both an Omenkiller and the Knight of the Haligtree was so perfectly ironic. Sadly the majority of "boss" bosses were kind of a stinker but overall a pretty funny run nonetheless.

He has already proven infinite skill, but this run shows how much patience and dedication he has to entertainment. He is always chill and never loses it. Image resetting probably every 3 minutes and do the same mentally draining shit over and over and over and over and over again I "speedran" doom eternal and i gave up after a weak because the intro dialog was killing me from the inside

On the other hand its kind of a good example why it’s not that broken. It’s a fully defensive move, 0 offense. BHS only delays your need to do damage and fight. You make no progress when using BHS. I don’t think a move that does no dmg or affects can be broken in a game centered around doing dmg and stacking affects.
@@MK-_-Rob Buddy, it is broken by design. There is no defense for it here. The gameplay in this playthrough is something that would *never* happen in the normal game and BHS still gives him enough i-frames to survive it most of it. There's a reason dist decided to pick it up, because he knows it's broken.
I've put 570 hours into Elden Ring on my PS5 so far, but lately I've been watching PC players on UA-cam with their mods and this is by far my favorite challenge run video. Makes me really wish I had a PC.
I always thought it would be cool if enemies attacked each other more in from soft games. With this mod it would be really cool if everyone was just killing each other
I noticed maga wyrms and land octopuses will fight each other, I was fighting a magma wyrm and it in the middle of the fight a land octopus attacked it so they ignored me and fought each other. The maga wyrm won but it lost a 1/6 of its hp and on death the octopus gave me 3 crimson flasks.
I knew from the moment I clicked on the video that the run up to Mohg's arena was going to be the worst part of the challenge, and I was not disappointed.

My favorite part about this is that it is the total inverse of the normal souls experience, where you run through the levels and get stuck on the bosses. Here, the bosses are cake, and the challenge is just reaching them without being murdered twenty different ways before you hit the ground.
Disabling rykard seems decent. Also respecing to high FP high stamina for more bloodhound step time is an option The parry and riposte skip on mimic was great. Cheers

I've seen approximately sixty eight quadrillion Elden Ring challenge runs at this point, and this one is still my favorite. There's just something magical about it. The WW2 Normandy levels of projectiles and artillery raining down on you at all times, the bosses murdering each other almost as much as you, the game murdering itself via crashes, Rykard's fat ass constantly blocking your path... it's beautiful. There is truly nothing like it

Dist had a whole character arc here as he learned to appreciate over the course of the run just how broken Death's Poker is. When he first got it he barely used the weapon skill and was talking about swapping it out, and by the end he was using the weapon skill for like 90% of his damage.
Swear to god the boss names are the funniest part of any enemy randomizer run - also, amazing stuff as always, but a little disappointed you didn't pay a visit to our boi Soldier of Godrick to see what he was. :P
This video was so entertaining. It constantly had action and I was holding onto my chair tight as you tried to squeeze by so many enemies even when the odds were stacked against you 10 fold.

As a resident of Maine in the US, I can confirm that this is what it's like. Lobster everywhere, grumpy hairy dudes with flaming balls, strange creatures, and overly paranoid security.
It’s very important in a run like this to unlock the ability to control the speed at which lobsters die.

On the other hand its kind of a good example why it’s not that broken. It’s a fully defensive move, 0 offense. BHS only delays your need to do damage and fight. You make no progress when using BHS. I don’t think a move that does no dmg or affects can be broken in a game centered around doing dmg and stacking affects.

The gameplay in this playthrough is something that would *never* happen in the normal game and BHS still gives him enough i-frames to survive it most of it.
There's a reason dist decided to pick it up, because he knows it's broken.

I've put 570 hours into Elden Ring on my PS5 so far, but lately I've been watching PC players on UA-cam with their mods and this is by far my favorite challenge run video. Makes me really wish I had a PC.

I always thought it would be cool if enemies attacked each other more in from soft games. With this mod it would be really cool if everyone was just killing each other
I noticed maga wyrms and land octopuses will fight each other, I was fighting a magma wyrm and it in the middle of the fight a land octopus attacked it so they ignored me and fought each other. The maga wyrm won but it lost a 1/6 of its hp and on death the octopus gave me 3 crimson flasks.
i love how you could possibly have "Radagon of Radagon" as an actual fight with this mod.

I knew from the moment I clicked on the video that the run up to Mohg's arena was going to be the worst part of the challenge, and I was not disappointed.

My favorite part of the run is when he faced Mohg and Mohg said "It's Mohging time" then proceeded to mohg the hell out of Distortion2
The sequence at 1:08:57 was too funny, the AI of all those enemies gained sentience for a few seconds just to mess you up, and mess you up they did
I love these enemy randomiser runs. It's the excitement of not knowing what is around every corner.

The comedic timing of the bosses is impeccable.
My only regret for this run is that it wasn't the Soldier of Godrick at the end to replace Elden Beast. Missed opportunity.

My favorite part about this is that it is the total inverse of the normal souls experience, where you run through the levels and get stuck on the bosses. Here, the bosses are cake, and the challenge is just reaching them without being murdered twenty different ways before you hit the ground.
This was probably one of my fav distortion vods. The chaos he had to endure and avoid just to get through bosses lol😂

I like to imagine in canon this like an alternate ending the lobster ending where a lobster become the next elden lord and this is the world they helped make
I've seen approximately sixty eight quadrillion Elden Ring challenge runs at this point, and this one is still my favorite. There's just something magical about it. The WW2 Normandy levels of projectiles and artillery raining down on you at all times, the bosses murdering each other almost as much as you, the game murdering itself via crashes, Rykard's fat ass constantly blocking your path... it's beautiful. There is truly nothing like it
My favorite parts of this run by far were when thoroughly unfitting field boss music kept cutting in over scenes of absolute chaos.

Dist had a whole character arc here as he learned to appreciate over the course of the run just how broken Death's Poker is. When he first got it he barely used the weapon skill and was talking about swapping it out, and by the end he was using the weapon skill for like 90% of his damage.
Having the boss names all screwed up cracks me up every time.

This video was so entertaining. It constantly had action and I was holding onto my chair tight as you tried to squeeze by so many enemies even when the odds were stacked against you 10 fold.
