WHAT IS A TOAST?
A toast is a mini-speech to honour a person, an organization, an event or anything else that you want to support.
To give you some ideas, it can be a toast on:
*A holiday or a celebration;
* A Role model;
* An Organization that helps people;
* A certain profession (ex. To health care workers during a global pandemic).

DEMYSTIFICATION
I’ve been visiting many clubs lately because I’m looking to join a second club but a French
Speaking one this time. And it always fascinates me to see how perplexed and intimated guests seem to be with all the different roles we play. And I remember very clearly how I felt, it can be extremely confusing.
So I decided to help you out by creating the Toastmasters Role Series to break down who
does what and to demystify it all.
One video at a time over the next few weeks, I’ll tell you all about these roles, from my perspective, and I’ll even act them out. I believe this information can be very helpful to 3 categories of individuals:
1. For professionals, what I am about to explain can very well be applied to
your own meetings and businesses. When you’re leading or participating in a meeting, those principles may help you make your meetings even more impactful and your participation more memorable.
2. If this is all new to you and you want to visit a club one day, you will be able to smoothly follow the flow of the meeting and understand what is going on! You will look like a pro!
3. If you are a Toastmasters member already and you have been hesitating to take on some more complex roles, you will learn everything you need to know during this Series.
