You guys could do what I do and take a 1/3 or 1/2 of a sheet of plywood or something similar to set on your ramp to make the deck bigger and also hold the ramp in place. A small square of plywood should usually fit in the back of the car as well and serve as a lower deck for all of your dirty stuff to sit on after dirt/mud runs! Keep'em coming Friends!
I've got 2 Piranha for my 6yr old and 10yr old boys. Best bang for the rc buck imo. They hang right in with my other brushed SCTs and have been very durable for the price! Nice review!

I think these will sell out at a good price. Riders Hobby shop had stacks of Red Cat vehicles, but I have no idea what type. Two thumbs up!
U have to be careful with the shocks the plastic clip that holds the spring on likes to pop off, also the transmission eats up gears, but for the price u can't beat it, I'm currently working on a piranha build video series, fixing all issues and doing some major upgrades

I just received this truggy.. Shocks had air in them - bushings in the wheels - but I also purchased the brushed losi 22s SCT. I'd spend the extra money to get the better brand. And the losi is like 8th scale size, so way bigger...
I liked the ramp jumps and the performance on relatively flat areas. The Piranha TR10 seemed to struggle on the hill though. I noticed Amelia tended to miss the ramp or only catch it on one side. That's OK, we know she's just getting started, actually those were pretty impressive attempts considering her age!

Recently discovered this truck and was pretty crushed to learn the price is now at least $140 anywhere online. Redcat must've realized this would be the deal to put them out of business, guess I missed the boat on that one.

For anew old school set up it performed really well...Also I think the Tx look's really good too. I wonder if there would be any need to upgrade it as it performed fantastic for a stock set up.👍

After seeing your video for the GTeng Pterosauria a few months ago I just bought it yesterday for $75 not bad since it litterally comes with EVERYTHING. Luv the controller and it's neet screen. Mine must be an update from when you got yours because the transmitter battery compartment now accepts the battery plug no problem and the door flap closes. Also zero "jelly" and the video is stable and crisp. How can you go wrong at this price for a fun little quad]?
It's priced decent, but I'm not really impressed. For a few bucks less, you can get the WLToys 12428, or the HBX Protector 12815. They may be a tad smaller, but they're 4x4 with lights, and the WLtoys is probably just as fast as that truggy, maybe a little quicker. Good test though, love your vids!
@BigFatCone So's the truck that's featured. I have both WLtoys and HBX and beat the crap out of both and haven't had any real problems. Just because they're cheaper doesn't mean they're poor quality. Plus you can upgrade them for cheap as well.
I HAVE THE WLP 12428 and this red cat perahna. WLP is a ok basher/ some what a rock crawler. But I love it !!!! Perahna is a short course truck under 100 .lot of fun too love it too.
@@jdposhkus tuff choice for price perrana. Upgrade fun 12428. I have the upgrade version 12428 wlp tech lypo version and I've split the gears in the front upgrading. Red cat just run it . Hills are not it hi point but hard dirt gravel and street is where I've had the most fun and jumping it.
