I started using this today and am reading the comments. This must be the most difficult to use product on earth. The designers missed the point of "user friendly" products
This design really is shit, but the medication comes in puffer form as well, it's called Rapihaler (the name is ridiculous, I know). Consider asking your doctor about it next time, symbicort is too got to miss out on because the design team was high on everything there is when designing Turbuhaler lol
No wonder some people get confused, you can see in youtube two versions of using turbuhaler, some say to rotate it clockwise and the other say vice versa.
this is one of the worst mechanisms I have ever seen on any kind of anything before. When you are dependent upon it to be able to breathe, it shouldn't be this difficult..
yes, the clicking thing drives me mad as I'm told it'll click clockwise but mine clicks anti-clockwise... my first dose could have been an overdose since I got confused and clicked thrice, excludes the two clicks I was told to do to prime the inhaler...
My instructions leaflet says to turn back and forth TWICE, not once. So basically 2 clicks. Why does my instructions say to turn in for 2 clicks instead of once like in the video??
i have turned until the re is click sound then i try to inhale but didnt feel anything so i turned multiple times and then only inhale it. dont know if i am overdose or what😅

I don't know if I am inhaling anything but air! The indicator stays the same...ie it says 60 and after rotation, forward& back, (click, breathe), it is,still at 60 though i tried a few times!
Read the instructions. For The 60 and the 120 puffs, the rate of changing on the inhaler is from 10 to 10 uses. For The 30 puffs inhaler îs from 15 uses. Read the paper that was in the inhaler's box...
One vdo clip said, don’t worry if the number didn’t change (bcoz it show amount left over inside)..it’s will turn only after 20(more or less) using times.
The worst thing is that you do not feel any of the medicine passing through your mouth as you inhale. It makes me really nervous that I haven't actually inhaled any. I just watch for the side effects to appear - faster heartbeat and hand tremor. 🙂 I wish I could keep using the Asmanex Twisthaler, which was both much simpler to use and could be tasted in the mouth.
actually there IS a taste you can perceive, maybe it’s just me but i can taste each dose while and after inhaling, a bitter taste followed by a dry tongue even after drinking water. 🤷🏻♂️
The stupidest solution I have ever seen in my life. I turn right then left and NOTHING happens. I recovered myself and I threw the medicine intact into the trash
Q: dose says 0, but I shake the inhaler and feel like it's still full. Infact I shook new one and the old one. They seem to be at the same full level. 😒
How do I get the medicine out of the container and into my lungs? There is no button. No release. Is it a spray or not? Am I supposed to suck on it? This video didn't help at all.
When science is making things easy day by day I donot know who invented this inhaler in this modern time it is highly confused and we donot know if repeated rotations put more medicinal in chamber or it just hold only one time medicine At least if this design was the only option then at least it should be transparent so that one could see weathe the medicine is loaded or not or weather the medicine is one dose or multiple doses 😭😭😭😭
Am I supposed to feel the powder going through my throat? I've done everything the instructions say and after inhaling it after the click, I feel like I'm just sucking in air. Please help
You're not supposed to feel or taste powder. As long as you're following the instructions and breathe in strong enough to hear a whistle sound, it'll work.
Bad design I used mdi had symptom control After using symbicort turbuhaler i had exacerbation of symptoms Either due to flaw in design or something else
Hold middle part and turn base clockwise till it stop, and then click base anticlockwise till you hear a click. Exhale out and breath from top part a long breath and then gargle your mouth
When you inhale, does the powder get into our mouth or just the air thing? Because I have used it twice, and the steps I did were all right, but when I try to inhale; I don't feel anything, to me, it just feels like I just inhaled, for nothing.
Bruh the first reply already said its tasteless, ur inhaling microscopic medicine u cant feel it in ur mouth since its far too small and it has no taste
If you inhale this you will feel mild bitter taste. But no powder will go inside. First you have to turn one side after you have to turn the orange color other side then you will here the click sound. Now you can use
Every time you use it you need to turn the system both directions, or just the first time? Also, I'm hearing a "click" in both turns, not just the second ??
Hold middle part and turn base clockwise till it stop, and then click base anticlockwise till you hear a click. Exhale out and breath from top part a long breath and then gargle your mouth
Who approved this for distribution anywhere? This doesn’t work at all. Now what? Go back to my doctor for another appointment, another trip to the pharmacy. People should be banned from the medical industry for profiting in any way from this thing.
yes it should move.. I inhaled without having to click and it still moved😳 so then i turned it to hear the click, the numbers moved after I inhaled and could taste a bit of powder. My instructions say I only need to turn and click the first time only and not have to do it again😳🥴 Ok I feel lost lol.

max dose is 6 per 24 hours, as long you don't clicked 6 times in a day it should be okay... it drove me nuts as well at first as I can't taste anything hence wasn't sure if I clicked it correctly... eventually found out to stop rotating once it clicks, it loaded once it clicks... so I just kept mine in the direction that doesn't click then turn once to click it before usage... telling me to turn one direction then another until it clicks triggers unnecessary anxiety...
