  • This is so-called New, because the eruption in 1990 had the old Kaimu Beach of centuries buried in almost 50 ft of Lava. The Lava destroyed the town,, houses, and a way of life back then.
    Seen here, on the bed of Lava rocks, are new coconut plants that the community is planting, for another future KAIMU beach.
    A bed of Lava rocks, and the south end of the coast of Big Island, we stopp by to enjoy the sea-breeze, and catch a glimpse of the rainbow's end.
