@@GoldenEnninasSims3 I was checking the v4 and I noticed there are some mods that can be replaced by adjustments on Retuner... Do you prefer having them as mods?
@eliana.playsts3 hi! Thank you so much for pointing that out. I'm not nearly as experience with Nraas mods as with others. I use most of them passively and only change the settings on Story Progression. I'm planning on learning more about the Nraas mods in the future to improve my game even further. I actually had a subscriber of mine ask me to make some tutorials on them, so I figure we can all learn together 😁
I'm hyped about how good the textures of your Sim look! I've got one question: Isla Paradiso is the most broken world in TS3 because of the amount of boats (that's what I've read somewhere else). How is the game running there? It's my favorite world and I always have trouble because it's lagging so much
I'm actually going to be testing that out soon! Before I removed the most recent round of mods, I tested the game out in every single world I have. And the results were all identical, which showed me it was mods that was giving me lag issues. Since the game is running so well in Sunset valley now, I think it's going to run very well in the other worlds! I'll be testing it out and showing the results in one of my V5 updates in the next couple of weeks!
Several of the mods I have are designed to make the world run better, so I'm very hopeful!
Iland Paradise honestly scares me because it worked very badly on my old computer, now I have a gaming laptop and I'm wondering if I should try it again.
I completely understand! I'm actually working to fix Isla Paradiso through my mods list. Unfortunately the world itself has several issues, so having a better computer doesn't necessarily guarantee it will work better. One of those issues are horses spawning and getting stuck in places. Sims also get stuck inside of their own houses. And whenever there's a routing issue like that it causes a lot of glitches and lag. I would recommend getting Ella Charmed's fixed world, that will fix a few of the routing issues. Downloading the Reduce/Remove Lag Caused by Housebaots mod by MaryDehoyos. Also, there are a few houses that need to be deleted. And horses need to be disabled. There is a post on the Forum in the link I am putting below that has some more details on it. Best of luck!
