I saw Madonna a few months ago and I saw Janet. There’s also other female artists that have been around from way back. Now touring……. One thing I see a lot of comments about with all said artists is “ oh they’ve really slowed down, they don’t dance like they used to”
Of course they don’t for god sake, these women are in their 50s and 60s, as fit as they are, they’re not 20 any more. But omg are they still kicking ass and I would love to see anyone at their stages in life putting on shows like this and the one I saw Madonna perform. These are the real icons, the real pros and their shows are absolute proof of that. Love love love ❤

I see the exact opposite: "oh my gosh, they are (xxx) years old and still touring!!"...as if being in your 50s and 60s means you have to be in a nursing home. Give me a break. I'm over 60 and I can still get things done. 👍🏻
@@Mr21scott yes my friend, you have to be in an armchair spending your days knitting once you reach 60 🙄😂 Im 50 now and I’ve even had people tell me I’m too old to be doing certain things 🤦 I’m probably fitter now than I was ten years ago. It’s crazy how people put a limit on age.

This is my 2nd time seeing the Together Again Tour, saw it back in April of 2023 and then again June 21, 2024 and enjoyed EVERY MINUTE of the shows. Janet is a Legend and Icon for a reason and anyone denying that or saying she's not, or nothing but a has been, washed up, can't move like she use to, well I'm here to tell you, she can crawl out on stage and No One, and I mean NO ONE can deny that she did not EARN her place in Pop Culture and the Music Industry. This woman danced for two hours at 58 years old and never missed a beat. The show was everything, and I have to give a shout out to Gil for his vision and for Janet and her dancers executing it so beautifully. And I those Nasty Boys are so delicious to look at and so damn talented and they have a great mentor in Janet who has given them the freedom to choreography some of the routines....and I love how they put their swag on The Knowledge, at 1:27:57 the breakdown of remix "Treat Me Right" Denzy in particularly adding that extra swag on it...I love it.
I 2nd that, I was at the Saint Louis Show on June 21st. She complained about the heat a little but when she took a sip from that potion of hers. She put everything into her performance.

All modern stars have playback. ALL of them. Janet sings the verses and the chorus is pre recorded since she didn't have live background singers this time. Madonna didn't either for her tour. It's artistic choice and saves money as well.
