Thats why we should create a sisterhood. Black women who travel there should communicate with each other stay close together and support each other.
Thats a exellente ideia ,Im from Guiné Bissau, live in Germany , i had This ideia of creating a kind of" hotel" to receive black women traveling alone or single ,my grand mother have a house in the village ,i was thinking in ways to put it to good use.
There is a group called Sisters international. They are very organised.
For what you can all secretly hate on each other
Sisterhood is just a gang of witches.
That will not keep you safe... I hope you will level your mindset up...
As an African man, i feel sad yet angry at the same time. To those affected, my heart felt condolences to you. Domestic violence is a real issue throughout the world but it seems AFRICA always gets the front line news. They are good African men and capable of taking care of those they decide to wife up. Like Ashley said do your due diligence before moving to any African country or any country for that matter that you so choose to immigrate to. A back ground check will suffice as well. Again, my condolences...to the families and the AA community affected by this news...
Thank you for making this video, because as a 60 year old single female who will be traveling to the Continent, I intend on remaining single and I don't like the feeling of being pressured to get a partner. I want to go to Africa to see and experience Africa. I have very little desire for a love interest relationship.
Ya. Until you reach Uganda. Hunks are waiting for you.
Be careful that people are not selling you are dream. Black people especially women are an easy target
You are more than welcome to the continent. Please just choose the country you go to wisely. There's plenty to choose from, but avoid that one where diaspora women are being deleted. I don't think it has the capacity yet to host and welcome the diaspora.
Just put your foot down. No one will/can force you into any relationship that you are not interested in.
So what your going to do get a dog? At 60? To protect you and take care of you when you get sick or need a helping hand
Appreciate your video but the 5 women who were killed in the Gambia, were independent business women in their 40s/50s who were NOT "in the streets". They were in community & developing their businesses.
If you search UA-cam for single older women who died in nybohanse village in Kenya, you will hear the same talking points. Mysterious deaths and all the fault of the women. Weird.
They were involved with young men. Stop travelling if you are a single woman looking for younger catch. It's not safe being a single mother abroad. You don't need to be in the streets to put yourself at risk. A single woman is a target. The people you meet, talk to or bring to your house will find out that you are a single women lIving alone.
It was not 5 1 was killed and 4 there was sick and 3 took the vaccine so to say it was murder is not true
Only one was kill€d by worker. The rest were sick. I knew most of these women. The internet is doing overdrive.
@@Accuface2000that is no reason to target them 🙄
You must be moral and alert, no matter where you live. LUST is not LOVE.
I've been living in East Africa for 11 months. There is a danger for women in general when they're unaccompanied
Which country in east Africa?
This is common in countries that have huge islamic influence. You need to be aware of this. Islam has a huge influence on those cultures. Dress the way the women do. Your American women empowerment thing will put you in big danger. Better stay in your America
I am from East Africa, when women go out especially at night it’s usually with a group of friends. It’s very rare that you see women wondering out by themselves at night. Africa, as a whole is a patriarchal society, so usually a male family member or a husband accompanies a woman if she is to go out alone at night. During the day woman venture off on their own because daytime is safer. Africa, is about community and you must make local friends and have relationships with your neighbors. Why move to Africa, to be isolated to yourself? Lastly, Africa is a very conservative continent as a whole and you must leave your western society mindset at home.
@@semiragualraya1041 a woman wandering around at night by herself in an American city would be considered foolish as well, sometimes people travel abroad and lose common sense in how they move. I've seen this up close
Exactly! Of course it is worse outside of America, but when I'm in cities like Chicago and hear fools saying stupid stuff like "Let's go to the movies tonight", like there is no high crime wave, I think they are gladly making themselves soft targets. DON'T GO OUT AT NIGHT WOMEN. BUY A STUN GUN OR PEPPER SPRAY, HAVE YOUR HOME MONITORED AND WIRED, LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS, DON'T OPEN DOORS TO STRANGERS - TALK THROUGH THE WINDOW. STOP MAKING YOURSELF EZ TARGETS.
The one thing I do not like is how everyone loves Africa together as if it’s one big country Africa is an entire continent with 54 countries with 54, dynamics 54, presidents 54 nations of people of course we are safe in Africa. But just like the rest of the world, there are places within places that we must always show discernment and be careful
As a Gen X American black man...we are the only ones who still romanticize Africa with little consideration for its cultural and ethnic diversity. There's really no such thing as an " African American
People..they're not the UK or US...do research
Both of them, are united
Even England ans Scotland were different..at one time
I agree. Africa is not one country but a continent. There are places safe and some not like everywhere in the world. I move to Africa as a single woman and I was ok. Sorry for those who had bad experiences or were abused. But again it’s good to make research and connect with locals.
Your safety depends on the place you live and the kind of friends you surround yourself with and not wether your a single women or not.
@memus - It’s not that simple.
If you come with husband, or male family member, they'll know not to harm uou
Bingo: It really is that simple.
@@kathleenking47 Most women who are killed, are killed by their significant other, not a stranger.
Single Black Women are most vulnerable in any community, especially in a foreign land.

This is the kinda attitude that gets you “gone” . Be open minded and read between the lines

Omg wow then I think you should stay where you are! You forget that people live in African too and an attitude like that would get you no where fast.
Humility goes a long way, just be careful!
Nothing is wrong with that, I will be going back myself. Just be careful.
Single black ladies that are mostly targeted are those who are looking for love in strangers. Some evil men are very hungry and hunting for easy wealth. Women, especially mature age and financially independent ones, looking for love are preys to them.and sadly they 😢 them in numbers.
Facts. I always wonder why succesful women fall for predators in most cases. If they plan to travel, it's better to surround yourself with women first and then take it from there. Even the women can be leeches. It's just hard
The single BW are somewhat like the passport bros being taking out by looking for love in all the wrong places.
@@boggsbrown2544True dat. Only that the women are easily taken advantage of. A guy can fight atleast.
Passport Sisters catching Ls but you only hear hate for Passport Bros
If you are a mature woman with money, why else would a man want to be with you other than to get your money? Men, no matter what country they are in want young attractive women. Sorry ladies. You can’t turn back the clock just because you got money and men that go after women for their money are the lowest criminals.
Africa is a very complicated continent, very diverse, but i can say there are safe and more stable countries but because of the political landscape which is unstable and uncertain, honestly i feel its both the West and Europe which has influence and because of the greedy African leaders who take bribes, it makes Africa sometimes such an unsafe place for woman.
You stated this perfectly thank you. South African here 🇿🇦
Generally the continent is safe, except in a few countries.
We love the way you present on this situation. Thank you. ❤❤
A beautiful woman with a peaceful heart.
Hope you find someone to share the peace with.
Yesss. Isolation is required. I think this is where people go wrong. Not forever and always but more often than not.
@ journey - Any isolation should be a temporary measure until you get acclimated (I believe she said as much in the video).
If you come across as disconnected, stuck-up, better than those around you, they will treat you accordingly. You will not be protected should something happens that requires your being protected, or people having your back looking out for you.
I am a male who frequents Ghana (was there for 10-straight months during the pandemic in 2020), and I choose to live among the people in what we would call the hood here in America. Mostly poor people (certainly not all, as some are solidly middle class), unpaved, pot-holed roads, open gutters, cows, chickens, etc.). However, crime is not a major issue.
I engage, embrace the community. I patronize the local vendors. Many know that I am AA because over the past 5 years I have stayed there on each occasion.
As poor as some of the residents are in that area (Lapaz, Race Course), I have occasions where money has fallen from my pockets, only to have people shout out, or chase me down to return it to me. Or, a driver I use, when bringing his fiancée to meet me also came with two cases of my favorite Ghanaian bottled water (VOLTIC).
When I send a kid to run an errand for me, they have always returned with my purchase and my change. A Ghanaian friend of mine who now lives in Lapaz, Racecourse, but spent most of his life living in London, told me just a few ago that people in that community like & respect me because of engagement, and the fact that I don’t present myself as an American who thinks he is above them, better than them.
Isolate permanently at your own risk. That doesn’t mean you should befriend just any and everybody, either. Use some common sense and discernment, the same way you would do do in America-presumably.
Excellent video Sister Ashley! Sending you and your lovely girls love and light!❤️💪🏾🙏🏾✊🏾

I was in Jozi in December and I can honestly say I felt safer than I was in London, soon as I was back in London, people asking me if I was safe, it really made me feel some type of way, I love South Africa with every fibre of my being.
Glad you felt safe in Jozi, but factually, South Africa is one of the most unsafe places on planet earth. The crime rate is one of the highest in the world. We have got to start being honest with ourselves about the possible bad situations you can get yourself into when you travel abroad and stop helping these women to be easy targets by lying to them about how safe it is for them to travel alone. The world is not your playground and being able to travel internationally is a privilege, not some entitlement or a vanity project for your own personal enlightenment.
South Africa has a high rate of rape
South Africa is the most transparent country in the world. Year after year, we rank number one since democracy. The issue with being transparent is that other countries don't collect statistics like we do and don't report on what happens in their countries like we do. Are we the most dangerous country in the world... Hell NO! There are many countries that are far worse.... We just discuss our issues more and report more.
Also, most African and Asian cultures believe in not losing face so they always put their best foot forward so their statistic are never as honest. South Africans just don't care about that.
Hi Ashley I am so relieved that you mentioned the rural areas. SA is safe and truly as new citizens you need to trend carefully as well. The land issue is a very sensative issue so I thing everyone coming into the country must be careful. Go and do things that you are familiar with and slowly learn other avenues.

Hey Ashley, Thank you for this video - it was a lively and interesting discussion! I feel your pain and equally your passion for your people! ❤❤❤
Ashley, I so appreciate this video and you honest candor about this topic. With all of the things that have been going on recently, I have had a lot of questions about whether I can really be safe and be respected as a woman doing business on the Continent. I have witnessed African men not being welcoming of women doing business and speaking candidly about issues on the Continent. Well, I guess I will stay tuned to what is going on over there, because I know my time in America is very short. Thank you again for this truth.
If African men don't meet your expectations, go to another continent or stay in your country with woke men.
The technology of networking is critical in at this stage. Using social media to seriously build information networks that can create a real academy among AA. All Praises Due To You for your spirit!!!

I love this video. Great advice. For those women who may not be able to migrate, or even travel, this advice can also utilized for single women living in America or ANYWHERE else in the world. I am a very mature adult multiracial female with African roots whose goal (with faith) is to migrate very soon after having visited the Continent twice. I visit your channel often, Ashley, and hope you continue encouraging us with your positive messages. May the Lord keep you in His care and Grace.

After learning about what happened to the woman in Gambia, I definitely can say I feel discouraged and it’s made me feel disconnected as well. It’s like it took the desire away from me to live there and even come visit. While I know that Gambia doesn’t represent the entire continent, it does seem that there is larger discussion to be had cross sectional within the African diaspora.
How do you feel about the 97,000+ back women that went missing in America in 2022? And the not yet reported statistic from 2023 which is expected to be over 120,000? Do you feel discouraged living there?? spectrumnews1.com/ca/la-west/public-safety/2023/09/22/local-black-woman-missing
You are remarkable Ashley. I look forward to meeting you on the continent one day.
African born women know & have experienced the love & care black American men have towards them. Don't be shy to chat with them.
Hi Ashley I am from Rwanda living in Cape town, I like your videos I wish to meet you, to know you .
Instead of staying here on your true ancestral continent and helping fight the fight... You all want to fight that... We aren't the same people as them...
Living in a major city in an African country is a completely different animal than living in an African village. The level of safety as a foreigner is much riskier. Many missionaries have lost their lives because of this false sense of security.
It's nice to meet you. I love music, my mind is a music box. I will do well in the music industry. I am always meeting people who write music, sing and play instruments. I am a people person and full of joy. I am self contained and a house person because of my relationship with the Most High GOD. But I am motivated and determined to succeed in what I put my mind to accomplish. I have had several small personal businesses.

Thanks for sharing your background. And the skills you have acquired in your birth country. It’s very sad for single women escaping America for the high crime rates and injustice only to be deleted in Africa .. this has happen to a few in the Gambia recently.
I would suggest stop relocating to these remote villages. You will always be a target of opportunity.
😮That's their fault because it's sad but these women were ignorant and dumb. They went into Gambia which is one of the poorest and less advanced countries even by African standards looking for love with moslty poor guys....Of they had to end up being robbed or worse. I don't know why women continue to ask these questions on whether or not a third world country is safe, Read my lips: Hell no because the people are desperate and you as an American Black is seen as a mark because you have resources.
The are somany successful black women in SA where Ashley is residing with resources and no one is bothering them, some African countries are advanced if it wasn't for the unfair grading of countries they can be in the same grade with most of western countries, there's too much information now on the internet,I believe we should all be careful of what we say cause things hv changed and Africa is changing.

The "successful" women of whom you speak usually have 'significant others', and/or family and friends, to accompany and help protect them.
This particular topic is concerning the lone traveling African American Woman...sometimes arriving with children in tow.
These women are Not immediately seeking male companionship.
Nor are they flaunting their Western Priveledge.
They are doing everything correctly to adjust and settle into their new environment... everything that they know to do...and yet..still..they become victims.
When predator locals detect a Western Accent, and notices her Single Social Status...that individual automatically becomes a target.
Victim blaming is detestable to me.

Please Ashley, it depends on which country in Africa you go just like everywhere in the world. I prefer to recommend to stay away from Gambia, they deleted fellow Africans as well. And avoid any country that has highest number of Muslims.
Im not sure why, that no matter how "educated," sadly, some keep lumping Africa together when an incident happens in one town in one country?. Africa is not a country. This happened in The Gambia. There are 54 countries.
I am going to New York for the first time in about two weeks. I am amazed at my lack of excitement. America has lost it shine. The interconnectedness via social media specifically has exposed the flaws that have always been. The politics of the country is also not helping.
Where would you walk on streets? Baltimore,San Francisco or Accraa/Kigali?
It sad to hear what went down i Gambiaabdwe need to get to the buttom and my condolences to the family. As an African man I fo disgree with AA aka passport bros who are using this tragedy to lecture and belittle AA single mothers who are moving to Africa. Everybody has a right to move to Africa including sigle women. It also sad that people with less understanding of Africa areusing what happen in Gambia to stereotype 55 countries. Do they know how small is Gambia in comparison to a whole continent? It is a pin in an ocean.
You are exactly right. If you put yourself out there 'all the time' then it is what it is. I'm definitely looking to come LIVE in Alkabulan to vibe with truth, God and my spirit which feels absolutely safe, at home and at peace there. As soon as work slows down a bit lol, I'm gonna rent an AirBnb in SA and check it out because I love what you say about it. You know me, gotta see for myself :)
Sorry indeed for what is ever happening to our black American sisters. But let them try a country like Uganda with gentlemen who may not jeopardize their life. 'I',personally, am looking for an American black lady to settle with in Uganda as my spouse. ❤
I thank you for your LOVE of black women and sincerely Hope you find a good one! It's very powerful when we marry each other! ❤❤
The origin story was very insightful. The contradictory rhetoric coming from American black women is confusing. Before covid, they were strong and independent and didn't need men anymore than fish need bicycles. Now they feel unsafe and unprotected, while they're also out here winning, going to college more than anyone else, girl bossing in black girl luxury, and starting so many new businesses that they cant find men on their level. All this while black men out earn them, own more businesses, and have less debt. Its all very confounding, and I see why they seek refuge in Africa.
You're speaking in generalities and aggregate data but we live and date as individuals. No one black woman embodies all black women and no black man embodies all black men. Some black women are college girls, some are artist and spiritually oriented vegans, some are church girls, some love men and some hate men. No one Black man earns more than all black women he meets either. We have individual stories and trajectories. Judge in the same way you would like to be judged personally.
Thank you for the great objective video which gave insight for those wishing or planning the move to Africa ❤❤
Ashley, I will recommend that you and other black women from the diaspora move to Mauritius Island in Africa. Mauritius Island is very safe and secure, unlike most European countries and states in the US. Please come over to Mauritius to live and do your business.
On Mauritius Island, you don't need any protection from anyone; the island is very safe for solo travelers.
WELCOME TO MAURITIUS ISLAND ANY TIME AND ANY DAY
Ashley you make excellent points! A lot of people have absolutely no international experience in traveling! I do believe this makes a huge difference in understanding people and culture! It’s important to have a knowing about who’s who and what’s what! I think a lot of people romanticize the Africa and have certain expectations of the people! It’s not realistic! It doesn’t matter where you move! Most importantly have TMH discernment! He will guide you and protect you! Excellent commentary!
Is there a specific incident that sparked the need for this video? Curious. Thank you.
This was most likely triggered by the six diasporan women who have died in the Gambia in the last six months. The first five died under 'mysterious' circumstances, which people suspect was poisoning. But the sixth was murdered with a hammer and her body dumped in a well. The general consensus has been that single black women are not safe in Africa.
what is the beauty industry like in African and I'm about to be 60 years old can I start a business and make a good living?
Yes, you definitely need to call upon God ior whatever higher power you believe in. That way, you feel safe and intergrate safety, guided by your higher power. I always say that the rule of thumb to South Africa (more specifically Joburg) is that it is as safe as you make it. Unfortunately incredible wealth tends to live side by side with incredible levels of poverty and whilst that is not an excuse to do crime, it does have the effect of creating predators who are motivated by this poverty. Therefore YOU have to be responsible for YOUR own safety at all times. Take calculated risks and do not put yourself into obvious situations. I concede that bad luck is a thing and you cannot always be on your best guard however I, for one, (knocking on wood) was born and raised in Joburg and I have never experienced crime or harm done to me or anyone immediate to my family. For full disclosure- my dad was hijacked (car was recovered) and our house got broken into both happening in the 90s around about when I was born but that was genuinely the last time we ever had to go through such a thing.
That would be an excuse if blk SA didn't choose to vote for a yt political party over and over again over Melama who is for the upliftment of blk SA people. That's their own problem and fault that they still live in poverty in the most natural resource continent in the world 🌍.

And that will be the most deviating day ever in the world and in history. And Africa will always be the Motherland!
Ur always Amazing..that's a gift, might as well call you Miss Amazing😊..very sweet video🫵🙏👌
Thank you so much
@@AshleyinAfrika ur welcome ❤️
I wanted to open my business in Johannesburg but I have doubts. I would not know how to mingle to get the product out there. Thank you for your truth. I follow you and some other UA-camrs in Africa who are from the United States and I have been discouraged into coming. I am a quiet person but I just don't know how to make my moves if I come to Africa.
While you are busy looking for negative stories to motivate how Joburg is being portrayed, Europeans are making moves to live here, just check which big companies hv invested in the Gauteng province running big manufacturing factory's,now it's nolonger free for everyone big steps are being taken ,they are starting to turn down many applicants who want to come and work in SA , I think by the time you make a move it will be too late, anyway good luck with everything.
I'm not sure what type of business you wanted to open up, but I may be willing to engage you on it if you're still willing.
I am African American never looking for the negative but I must do my research before making a choice as big as this thank you for the feedback blessings@@JohnHaze4666
I don't know what types of business you want to open but Johannesburg and South Africa are known to be pretty dangerous places. But there are 54 African countries & cities that are pretty chill and way less dangerous like Abidjan/Ivory Coast, Gaborone/Botswana, Kigali/Rwanda, Nairobi/Kenya etc...
And please if you come to Africa just avoid poor dudes or dudes who aren't from good families, I don't know why African American women travel to Africa to be with dusties while there are men from upper class and wealthy in every African major cities lol.
get lost scammers.
Depends on why they’re there. Two sides to every story.
💁🏾♀️Ashley, thank you for your transparency and producing this video. Your words were appreciated and needed! Much respect ❤
Thank you so much!!
I'm not understanding the logic behind becoming an expat for a better life but then having to watch your back constantly. Too high pressure. I lived in an upscale neighborhood in the US as a home owner. So, I was not downgrading my lifestyle coming to Africa. In N. Africa, I don't have to. There are a lot more people with more money than me here.
I'm seeing people with large duffel bags of cash at ATMs putting money into the machines who are not bankers or bank employees. There are "Gold Streets" here. Where my favorite jeweler is located. He hooks me up. I have Emirates living in my building. So, where I am is safer than America by far. Sub-Saharan Africa is a no-go for me unless Seychelles.
Thank You well, said...or the Caribbean
@zoraneale8004 I think where people go matter. As Black Americans, we aren't monolithic. When I came to Egypt, they kept calling me light skin, and I'm caramel. A little lighter than Zoe Saldana. Skin color was never an issue for me in America. Nobody mentioned mine to me. I attracted both light, dark, and YT men. So, I was perplexed by it in Africa.
I don't have issues with skin color cause my mom was light skin wnd my father dark skin. But I can not tell you how many times I've heard it here. Africans from Sub-Saharan Africa won't even speak to me. I was friendly coming in the door. The women are downright hostile. All but the Sudanese who are wonderful as is the Egyptians. All the Arabs are wonderful towards me, some I hadn't run into in America. They treat me like a Queen. So, I knew I was not going into Sub-Saharan Africa. I would not fit in. THAT'S THE POINT, you should fit in, and you should be able to be your authentic self.
@zoraneale8004 The only thing about the Caribbean is those 🌀 hurricanes.
This ! As a half French Caribbean and half Congolese man, I think the problem is that American just don't know Africa like Frenchs or Brits do at all besides some countries like South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria and maybe Egypt....And still. Additionally I have noticed that many Black American women come in some African countries and hang out and date poor people or with people from lower classes. Huge mistake ! Of course they'll get taken advantage of. What an idea to go to Gambia which is one of the poorest and less advanced African countries even by African standards and looking for love with poor dudes, that stupid asf. Especially when in North Africa and subsaharian Africa there are good and safe cities with good upper class and diverse wealthy like Nairobi/Kenya, Casablanca/Morocco, Kigali/Rwanda, Marrakech/Morocco, Abidjan/Ivory Coast, Luanda/Angola, Accra /Ghana, Lagos/Nigeria. South Africa and his cities are beautiful but there is too much xenophobia and violence there...Anyway the thing is don't be with the dusties lol. BTW Seychelkes is cute and touristic but too small and not advanced enough.
I need to know because I want to come and I believe GOD will protect me. Africa needs to exalt women and keep them alive, women are the life carries. He created the women to carry life not men. Now comes the investigation, let it begin. Africans will find out who and what happened to those women. Let it be written, let it be done.
20:58 THANK YOU!!! There are so many successful men on this continent in every country!!
I am shocked at the amount of women who are coming over aged 40, 50+ getting with dusty younger African guys.
They are looking for trouble!
Hell I wouldn’t get one and they are in my age range!
Lol so false
Love is easy, it's people that complicate it. You don't have to move to Africa for it. You don't have to have requirements for it, it has built in requirements, just like a job. Love and money are not compatible things because you can have 1 without the other. Love already has things that's compatible with it.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
Where is money and worldly success in that verse? You have to stop chasing fake love. Fake love will have you in Africa trying to find it. You will suffer with love just like anything else. There are limitations to the suffering i.e. physical beatings but that's a conversation for another time. Nevertheless love and who you're suppose to be with, in God, is not going to look or be like you want it too, you're not that smart. You don't know who you will be 20 years from now but God does. Shalom
BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: The startling disappearance of Black women in the United States has come under the spotlight as more than 97,000 cases were reported in 2022 alone, according to data from the National Crime Information Center. This concerning trend sheds light on a crisis disproportionately affecting the Black community.Sep 22, 2023
This is horrible. Here is the source for those interested in understanding more: spectrumnews1.com/ca/la-west/public-safety/2023/09/22/local-black-woman-missing#:~:text=The%20startling%20disappearance%20of%20Black,disproportionately%20affecting%20the%20Black%20community.
No one is addressing the high rate of blk femicide in America because the women refused to name the perpetrator aka blk men. The women refused to march for the cause but rather cover up for the blk men.
Women must not 🚫 be a crime scene 🙏
Ashley, maybe a bit of security needed around black business woman due to this issues while settling and finding their feet. Just to use a bit of wisdom in this area
What country is called "Africa"???
Nobody is safe from lies.
I grand this cherry ekse. ❤
One of the women that was unalive was on Utube.
REally? who was it?
Hi Ashley, you staying in Jhb now, haven't you been living in PE?
Wait, she lived in PE? I live here and I'm such a fan of this beautiful, strong woman.
Ashley is so amazing! We most stop saying that those women were killed in Africa. There is proof of one murder as far as I know. The others had preexisting health issues. Let's not exaggerate.
Peace!
Black people should protect each other bc these folks won't.
5 minutes into the video and you have yet to address the question in the title.
I'm sure it to courage and good planning to create this video. Should we assume that your "vulnerability" is the reason you show no bullet points, pictures any supplemental material to clarify your message of the need for safety in the Gambia? I've seen several YT videos about this topic in the last week. I'm confused to hear the avoidance of words like "death" or "died." I'm accustomed to hearing euphemistic terms like "passed away" or "transitioned." Instead, I heard "Unalived" and "deleted." To me, these vague references indicate a fear of even talking about this subject. If talking about the subject is this sensitive, then living in the environment where it appears to be happening must be scary indeed.
But Ashley, Africa is a continent?
The 'safety' varies from country to country.
I'm disappointed in the framing of this content.
YOUR HUSBAND IS IN SOUTH AFRICA
Honestly, you look like a South African of coloured descent.
The movie "How Stella got her groove back " been lining African American women up for the kill for over 20 years now Smh
Damn, I love that movie. Lol
@@AshleyinAfrika my bad sis🤣
Is it though. Overall incidents of murder in a foreign country are very low for american black women
They shouldn't have to tell you that you need to travel with a man. You need men. We need men they're our protection. Im not trying to hear any
of this. Can't nobody tell b woman anything. So you learn the hard way.
I find it strange that the 5 others were so sick,,, that they all died! 😮 What exactly was their illness???
I don't know the story but malaria is still an issue in most of Africa.
South Africa 12th highest PRISON population worldwide, highest in Africa with a prison population of 150K . South Africa population roughly 60 million .
Top 10 murder rate worldwide Jamaica, Honduras, SOUTH AFRICA, Mexico, St Lucia, Belize, Columbia, Brazil, Dominica ,Guyana . US ,South Africa Higher GDP but also higher inequality .
US less than 5% world population and more than 25% world prison population . US population 335 million , prison population 1.68 million inmates . China population 1.4 billion and 1.69 million inmates . US second highest worldwide .
South Africa is different you are pretty much in a developed Country. More Black Americans should go to South Africa more because SA is "The West" on African Soil......
Oh God DEF jam records?
they are kidnapping themselves as well. let's be real honest. it is not safe right now
It’s never been safe. If you’re a grown ass woman, you’re supposed to be traveling with your husband. Why? Most black women are too dumb to realize the danger they are in by traveling alone outside the US. That’s why.
