Thank you, Jeremy.... we used to hear this alot at school (probably very non U now!! My house in Portsea was very near the R M music school.. it was wonderful to hear them practise from 8 a.m.......... 'Hearts of Oak', 'Rule Britannia', and many other frightfully English musical gems! I used to sing so many of these songs on my way to and from work, trying to remember to be discreet when passing persons from other cultures!!!!!
The talent needed to play those trumpets is awesome - the trumpeters use only their lips to generate the notes and have no valves - ceremonial trumpet!
I was trying to place where I had heard this fairly recently. Then I remembered that it’s played in one of the scenes where the younger Prince of Wales had snuck out with his friends in the series Edward VII. Great show!!!
I was in the car park of St Paul's and the RM band played this and my Greyhound got all excited, so I took him in and staff couldn't stop laughing as he was transfixed lol
Recall seeing the big fella on the left in a previous video on here. Superb playing from both of them - and that fella on the ol' Joanna ain't too bad either! LOL
I had a decorative coach horn and used to stick this on the CD player and pretend to play it! Had to get rid of the coach horn so I didn't cause a noise nuisance:-)
I played the organ for the wedding of my friends and the bride’s father knows Ivan. I accompanied him for the processional music and the recessional music and he wrote descants for the last verses of the hymns.
Amazing what 2 talented musicians can do with a long tube of brass.

Very, very well played and acted. What a pity neither of them thought to acknowledge the Band Sergeant who accompanied them so well.
Insanely freaking awesome. What incredible talent!
Both absolutely brilliant. Amazing double and triple tonguing!

These two are brilliant. Always makes me laugh.
THANK YOU another respite from “Lockdown”. 🥰
