@@lemoncholy She said "I found it very enjoyable☺️, the content is accurate, although it may not be the most didactic/instructive illustrations for educational purposes the voice was very captivating, I enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing it with me😘" lol
Btw I love your style and imagination please do continue to do what you enjoy the most. Thank you for sharing it with us :> Your work matters and inspires❤️

@@lemoncholy 🥰 💕💕💕
and happy new year!
"You are.. a miracle" I am once again crying 🥺🥺 it's a very heartwarming culmination like yes,,,,, I am alive and a miracle thank you 🥺🥺
don't you ever think otherwise ;)
imagine if I could make this during my biology class my grades would’ve been 📈
You'd probably only get bonus points for the effort lol
Man, I should've seen this when we were learning about this😂
damn they said "baby" and this is what you come up with? Beautiful.
I’m so glad I discovered this channel, your aesthetic and skill is amazing
This is so beautiful! You have such a keen sense of aesthetic and style. I wonder how you got those effects and filters in, I never know what to look up but the look, the projection and overlay feel... It just fits so well with the subject matter.
Thank you! My team took a lot of inspiration from petri dishes and old textbooks. As for how we got those effects, we played around with a lot of blending modes, adjustment layers, blur, and grain effects on both Photoshop and After Effects. It took some trial and error before we were able to figure out the projection feel.
This is the best Christmas gift I could have asked for
too sweet 🥺 - happy holidays!
I wish all my science classes were taught in animated short film format
Omg mitosis was exactly what I was studying today! I just find this coincidence so funny and pleasing. Keep up the great work! :3
hope this helps with your studying! btw feel free to let me know if you've seen wolfwalkers - would love to hear your thoughts :3c
@@lemoncholy Aww thanks this sweet film summed up my studies today! I haven't watched Wolfwalkers yet. But I'm dying to~ hehe I wrote more on it in a email. Also as you can see your beautiful character design is my pfp! I love your works so much! Also wow this was made in only 48 hours!? Truly a fantastic job by you and your friends!
wow, this is gorgeous! the warm coloring is so pretty and the animation was very smooth and dynamic, lovely job!
I can just imagine the voice actor whispering into a mic in a recording booth 😂 great execution nonetheless!
i'm pretty sure he was whispering into an iphone in his room 😂
glad you enjoyed it, and that his passion came through nevertheless!
48 HOURS?! OK YOU HEKIN MAGIC PERSON (btw thanks for the existential dread, this was very well done!)
this is AMAZING. you're so talented and creative. merry christmas!!
i clicked as fast as I could!
this is so well put together.. honestly, I don’t know what to say, all of it so gorgeous
thank you that means a lot 🥺 - i could not have done this without my friends
@@lemoncholy ❤️
this was very comforting. 🥺 thank u for this. you are magical✨
OKAY BUT THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL?! Your art is so sublime I’m just so amazed by your creativity and your style ✨
That was really beautiful- I loved the presentation and the little details for example the eye motion when it was mentioned in the video.
The voice was also great and the message is very important and something I think a lot of us forget, in our daily lives, that each and everyone one of us is a miracle 😊
Thank you for uploading and sharing it 😄👍
This animated short made me feel special.
every one of your films that I've seen so far is just... wow
this is literally gorgeous !
... when it said 48 hours i legit thought the full thing lasted 48 hours, not that it was made within 48 hours ahsdkadsj anyways I absolutely LOVE this I swear every time I watch something from you my mind just goes *kaPOOSH* and from that i know that it was something well-made, well thought-out, and just amazing. thank you for sharing your stuffs with us!!
incredible work to all three of you!
THIS IS SO STUNNING WHAT! Biology professors could never
Seeing the evolution of quality content on this channel is like the aging of fine wine.
Gorgeous film. I didn't expect to feel empowered at the end.
Wow, this is beautiful!! So glad I came across your channel
Man I really love your channel, seen every video. Would you make a behind the scenes for this? A slight criticism is that I found the narrators voice not suited to this animation. It felt as though he was trying to do a attenborough voice, but it didn’t suit his voice. Amazing animation thought, only the slightest discrepancy
Thanks for the kind words! Hmm, there are a lot of things I'd like to reveal about our process, but unfortunately I won't have time in the near future to pull a video together. If there is widespread interest, I may do one when my calendar clears up.
Ah, we actually told Archie we wanted "David Attenborough," and I found his impression quite entertaining. If this hadn't been a 48hr project, we would have spent more time thinking about voice, but I appreciate the note - it's always interesting to hear thoughts!
That was so beautiful! (And I'm so happy that it was posted on my birthday, although i only came across it now)
The bright, neon colors you use in the beginning and at the end remind me of the color scheme in spiderman: into the spider verse - i was getting flashbacks to when miles got bit by that huge spider lol
as always, love your videos!
the transition from the lungs to eyes is mindblowing
THIS IS AMAZING! I have a love and hate relationship when studying biology but I wish these were the videos shown back in my classes lol 😭💕
I can't help but cry
oh my god i love this so much
Wow this is such a beautiful animation. Very well done and....plus educational😂 Im looking forward to see more Calarts animation films since im getting in. However I love it
Omg, I'm learning! And I'm enjoying it!!! Is awesome!
also this is so pretty omfg
i keep rewatching this the visuals are 👀👌🏼👀👌🏼👌🏼👀👀
🥺😔🙏
Oh, that actually cheered up a lil bit.
OMG this is so beautiful
OHHHH YEAHHHHHH
Wow i have tears in my eyes...
If I had this when I was in 10th grade, I wouldn’t have skipped the whole topic 😲
This is stunninnnnnnnngggg
i love your style!!!
THIS IS SO COOL!!!
Beautiful!!!!
Beautiful
Exurb1a but I’m smiling at the end
this did make me feel better about myself

I AM A MIRACLE
Woah I've never seen anything like this before

Ame esto, se lo mandare a una profe de biologia si o si
Hi, Michelle! Great short film. I was wondering if you could teach us what goes into making a 48hr short film. I'd really like to work on something like this, but I have no idea where to start or what to do.
I hope you take this request into consideration. Thanks.
Hello! I might consider doing something of the like when I have more experience with 48h challenges - this was my first time and I haven't had my fair share of the chaos. If possible, I think it'd be best to participate in an organized challenge or with friends, so you have people to keep you accountable. For this production, my friends and I followed the same steps as was outlined in my "How I made my first CalArts film" video, only we set out to create something much more simple, made decisions quickly, and cut corners when we could.
That being said, I know that finding filmmaking communities and making genuine connections can be especially difficult if you aren't in an art program. One way I stay updated with the animation community outside school is through discord servers. Here's one: twitter.com/openanimation_?lang=en - they recently held a short film challenge and will probably host more in the future.
Thanks for the suggestion - I'll keep it in mind :)
@@lemoncholy Thank you so much for this resource! This is your first time??? You handled the rendering of this animation like a pro.
I can't wait for you to get the confidence in your 48hr short films and finally make the "How to make 48hr short films".
Once again, you've been a great help so far. I can't wait for your future film releases and tutorials :D
Hmmmm. Science. In a nutshell. Love it
Omg this film is what I want my career to be (I want to get a dual degree in microbiology and illustration)
merry christmas
merry christmas!
If my science teacher sounded like this I'd probably attend every class
He sounds like Tom Scott to me lol
que cois mais linda.
algebriac!
Not SCP 049 teaching us about cells i-
i was scrolling through ur channel when my mum entered my room and i just clicked into this video sjkdhbsdjhbj i told her i was doing biology HELPDSKJ
*Vietnam war flashbacks to biology class:*
if biology isnt presented as art i don’t want it now
coincidentally, i'm supposed to answer some things for school right now and this is our current biology topic!
How can you put the pictures under a circle lense? 😭 Please tell me 🛐
Is it just me or does it say calrats instead of Calarts in the credits
who else mistook that voice for exurb1a's for a short while
But where does the instruction come from?
How did you get Jude Law aka Lemony Snicket to narrate??
calrats ( 1:31)
looking for this comment
Why is batman the narrator?
you forgot prometaphase
Am I the only one who mistook the voice as Tom Hiddleston's voice? 😆
A pro life film? Huh I'm suprised.
