I have used it till today, I replaced that keyboard 2 times under warranty and I have to say Cosmic Byte support is one of, if not one of the best Customer Support experience I came across. Last week, the D key on the keyboard stopped registering, sometimes working sometimes not working. As I am a gamer D key was essential, today I bought this keyboard for 2280 on Vedant Keyboard. Went with Cosmic Byte because of my experience dealing with them!

I have been using Cosmic Byte Firefly from last 1.5+ years and I will give you my honest opinion Pros: No issues in RGB lightening, per key RGB, you can even set particular colour for a key individually The switches sound good and feel good Cons: Some of the keys have stopped working, I have to click them more than 5-10 times to register which is annoying So it's better to go for another brand in my opinion As i was not expecting it to have issues within 1.5years
How many keys have stopped working brother? In the video I see that there are 2 additional keys provided. Have you tried replacing those keys? Do they work?
@@RT-oz3lg No additional key is provided to me, even after exchanging in warranty period. And it depends, in first keyboard, 2-3 keys stopped working and within weeks, the number increased. After replacement, it worked fine for 9-10 months and now again 2-3 keys are causing issues.

I have used the keyboard for almost an year and its great. All of my other peripherals are topmost Razer but I don't want to change this untill it gets really old and stops working. If some of the keys stops working, you can simply swap the switches with F6 or some rarely used keys. And old firefly doesn't have the Media option in RGB.
I have an older model CB GK 16 and the RGB broke after just one year. Now some switches don't turn off RGB at all, some don't work on certain colours and some don't work at all.
Redragon has some nice keyboards in this price range as well. I am not sure about TKL, but check out K617 fizz and K616 fizz pro wireless for some really value for money 60% keyboards with swappable switches and software customization support.

Hey, I am very confused about buying a keyboard. The two options are Redragon k552 white RGB or the CB GK-37 (white) I need something that lasts long, sounds good and have amazing RGB. After looking at the vids, I think that Redragon k552 has brighter lights and sound better too. Please recommend!

Makes me go 😍... I did absolutely right after buying it. It has software, rgb, white and its just crazyyy. Go for the redragon k552 dude I'm sure youre gonna love it. Get the k552w white rgb version instead of the rainbow, rainbow doesnt have per key rgb. Thanks!
I have Acer Nitro 5 Rtx3060 2022 I have to change thermal paste but there are two types for thermal paste one is silver, and another is pink I don't know what to do can you make me understand what to do. thank you
been using the firefly gk 18 (gk 16 is called gk18 when picked with the red switches) for almost 2 years and still works perfectly, the only problem i'd had are with the RGB, some keys are displaying wrong colours because I used to leave the keyboard on the same colour for months so some colours have been burned in on the keys. other than this the keyboard is still performing 10/10 just like the first day.
You're lucky man, in my 1.5years of experience RGB is working perfectly fine but some keys are registered when you click then 5-10 times They have stopped responding to single clicks
@@ARUNKUMAR-nl2nb I don't this so there's any way to fix this because I'v even tried using the software to change the colour of individual keys. the colours have just burned on the LEDs and it's an hardware issue so can't be fixed normally, tho it is not a big one which will affect the functionality of the keyboard

I too am not happy with the Firefly, the left shift key had a problem from the very beginning, then one year down the line the rgb led lights started misbehaving. Now d, e, c key do not work at all. Overall not happy with the keyboard, hence won't recommend.

Just to let you know ! Hot swappable keyboard has north facing led and cherry profile switches will not work or atleast will some difficulty.. you can use cherry key caps but not switches

3 pin swappable also supports 5 pin too you just need to cut off the other pinch cause they are just plastic pins and do nothing

I would like to add a point here ki this keyboard has all anti- ghosting keys which means the keyboard has 1000hz polling (1ms response) great for osu and apex, people yet don't know how keyboard company fool you by giving 125hz keyboard for the same price Chinese brands like gk ,sk and rk
Edit : i got the keyboard and its fake doesn't have 1000 polling and fake advertising done by cosmic byte
