Sometimes the extra at the end is the Karaoke version, like this time. That allows one to better hear some of the more background vocals as they often layer their voices. This song, in particular is rather cool to listen to on that, as each singer is singing multiple parts. And yes, they do add distortion in post sometimes, but it can be surprising just how straight some of it is. For instance, there's a sound of a creaking old door opening in this. It comes straight from Layne's mouth. Hard to believe, since it is so realistic. And I love that the guy (J None) who now sings for the US Navy gets to do a rap about 'Ops'
Your "Geoff subharmonic Stankface" was AMUSING! When Voiceplay creates music, they use a very MINIMAL amount of post production... They'll clean up a sound or two, possibly double a voice that needs a little more depth, but these songs are able to be performed live. Rapper = JNone Geoff = Earthquake Eli = Bald God of Rock Caesar = Majestic mane and beard and intense emotions Layne = Everything AND the kitchen sink (and occasionally a VioLayne)
Ah, my very favorite! This is where Geoff earned the term "Lion's Purr" from me. That B0 he hits just like a big cat purring! I listen to this for hours every other night! Oh, and Voiceplay played a little trick on us fans with this one. You see, because of Covid, a lot of musicians were doing videos together, but they were actually green screened together, and weren't actually in the same place. For example, in Voiceplay's "Enemy" they had a guest named Alexa. it looks like they're all together, but she was actually in Japan! And this wasn't too long after J. None joined the Navy. Sooo most of us watching this thought "Oh, J. None is off by himself, they must have green screened him in for this video, cool!" But THEN, the next thing we knew, accompanied by a squeaky door effect by Layne, J. None walks into the hall and joins our boys! Surprise!
One of the most amazing aspects of VoicePlay is that they are putting out one video every month, and doing it all, or most of the work, themselves. Plus Geoff's solo videos and Layne's Pattycake Productions. I's sometimes hard to tell what is post profuction and what is just them. They do have someone who does the final mix for many a capella groups. He's a wizard. Yes, it takes time to learn who is who, especially with people leaving and joining, And Home Free have now lost a member. So more to learn. Of course the credits will tell you who is who and who did what. And where.
This was filmed in an other studio. That day it was around 39 degrees Celsius in Florida.....and the AC of this studio had died. They also had to wait for J.None, his airplane was 3 hours late out of Washington State. EfG
Did you watch My Mother Told Me? It is the prequel to Valhala Calling. I don't think it is required to watch it first, but the characters from that video show up in this one. They have matured a bit, and not all made it to this one.
VP at their very best. This shoot was terrible but the end result is great. Among a bunch of other issues the place it was filmed lost its AC. Very hot, especially wearing Vikings] costumes. They are in Orlando Florida. ❤
Oh, wow! Thanks for sharing. My laptop just died and i feel a little of the same struggle (a small percentage of it). Hope to get a new one today and be up and running again. Still have a few video's that were recorded with the old one. Have a great day.
Friend, as for books for young and old. Do you know Rick Riordan. He created Percy Jackson and others. He retells the sagas about the greek Gods in a modern american setting. He also tells about the Egyptian gods in the Kane Chronicles and now than we have the north sagas of the gods with Magnus Chase. He invented them first for his son, who has a problem with attention and felt unworthy. I love those books. They are better than the movies. As the girls in this books are the clever and courages ones, it should be something for your daughter. OHH and PLEASE continue with the barefoot princess. Elmar from Germany
Yes i do know him! I have been meaning to buy the books in Dutch and reading them with my daughter. Is that a coincidence you mention this or a sign? :) Greetings from Belgium
@@SaeedReacts. I think we think alike in some things. I think also, that this books are a great way to entertain and learn a bit. For you i might recommend Patricia Briggs with her urban fantasy about Mercedes Thompson, a young woman in the Tri-Cities/Washington State who is half indian (nativ american) who discovers that the stories about fae and so on are not fairytales. Mercedes is a VW-Mechanic ;). I love the fun and suspence, showing, that having friends and allies is more powerful than raw power. EfG
It is totally my computer. It just died. Going to buy a new one today. I do have some reactions still with the old one, so apologies for the framerate issues.

Eli has a great rock voice on him. 😊💜💜
He sure has. Love it!
I have to remind myself every time that J did not break through an old wooden door, it was Layne all the way!
Valhalla Calling is my favorite VoicePlay song. It is so great and just love the rap.
So good!
The bald guy is eli (prononce elee like jelly)
I already said in previous comment :
The name are in the description for every video !!!!
Thank you. Apologies, i am doing my best with remembering the names of the many new artists i am discovering on this channel

Wow, that is productive. A lot of work goes into these.

The bald tenor's name is Eli (rhymes with Jelly) Jacobson. Hope that helps.
Thanks!
This is probably their most epic cover ❤
It is truly epic in every sense of the word.
If you like sea shanties and bass voices please check out the Bass Gangs version of Jolly Sailor Bold. They are another acapella group.
I have not heard that one yet. Will add that to my list. Thanks so much.
yes, they will add effects on the voices at times. It’s most noticeable on Seven Nation Army and In The Air Tonight.
Will keep that in mind. Thanks.
Peyton Perish does songs in the old Norse language but has also done a lot of Disney songs too. I love Draugr. His voice his amazing.
🔥🔥🔥 yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 🔥🔥🔥
So good!
It's "Rock God Eli!" (His name starts with E, which rhymes with B, for bald.)
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥🔥
Another favorite I have is God Only Knows Cover by Peter Hollens and friends. Tim foust is in it.
I will add that one to my list. Thank you.

What’s more impressive, Geoff sustaining an F1 or Eli sustaining a C5?
All super impressive.
The bald hard rocker who can hit high E above the magical tenor high C is Eli Jacobson.
Thank you !
Oh, hey! I think something may be going on with your camera, or maybe it's my computer, but sometimes your movements look a bit jerky.
It is totally my computer. It just died. Going to buy a new one today. I do have some reactions still with the old one, so apologies for the framerate issues.
@@SaeedReacts. Oh, no worries. I fully have experience with glitchy electronics! More than I'd like to!
