Just like anything else in life, RP should be utilized as a tool rather than an ideology or dogmatism. From that sense, it can be useful in that it can help men become aware of certain potential risks and consequences that come with associating with women whom have certain behavior patterns. I've seen many good men get played badly because they are oblivious and naive to the signs & patterns that RP consistently points out. At the same time, don't be like the men who go too far with RP to the point where they miss out on some great opportunities & experiences because they become too closed-off to women & the world in general.

The problem I’ve had with red pill, is it’s mostly academic. These guys aren’t doing approaches and learning what women respond to. They are just rationalizing their theories about women. It’s not all wrong or all bad, but it’s mostly academic. They lack field experience.
Actually it's the opposite. Men become redpilled because of experiences that they could not comprehend with their blue pulled thinking
For me it was the opposite. I had a lot of rejections and all the negative experiences created a confirmation bias of my view of women. When I was in the field trying to get girls, I had 0 success. Yeah, I got some numbers, but nothing came out of it. When I stopped trying, suddenly, I had girls gravitating around me and landed a few relationships. I should preface this with saying I was still going out, but not with the intention of picking up, just having a silly goose time with friends and meeting people.

red pill is not trash, it is the truth. also todd shares his opinion, red pillers share statistics, statistics crush opinions. most of what they say is true, the statistics and how women nowadays behave confirm it.

Disagree completely. The red pill helped men like myself stop getting into shitty relationships. Once I became red pill aware, I got into the relationship I wanted with a quality girl. Guys that just know game, only end up with hot girls that have no values or sense of boundaries, then these same men are left wondering where they went wrong. The red pill is necessary, whether you agree with it or not
The biggest problem I’ve noticed with red pill is it made me think I needed to be rich before talking to women.
the "women just want looks and money" is just bro science. not a single psychology book nor any legitimate dating coach will teach men that they have to focus so much on their looks and money, especially money.
Red pill has interesting ideas but it's almost pure theory with no application. Young guys especially need classic no frills PUA. TAKE ACTION. Go out, approach, field reports, etc. And yeah, there are some pretty bad examples of stuff that WILL just make you worse. Guys getting really upset at, and distracted by bad female behavior/disrespect. Guys talking about backwards crap like "choosing signals" (basically just approach anxiety and a way to justify permission seeking)
RP guys need to realize the red pill was born FROM Game and they talk about everything but Game.

A lot of PUAs realized they were good at approaching and closing but most failed at leading a long relationship. Some cheated, some ghosted.. they always did something...and the RP theories started emerging.
At one point in time, Red Pill was used by MGTOW which its philosophy was very different from Game.
Stuff like MGTOW was the more significant usage and influence/spread of the term Red Pill, not Game.

i think once you get good with women and can have a level of abundance then the red pill is useful in understanding your value and how to take your situation to the next level. Understanding that with abundance you can literally dictate the terms of the relationship as to however you want. Really helped my growth as a person. Also changed how I treated and viewed women.
Hey Todd. How do you deal with the guilt of having led on a woman?
For more context, I’m a newbie in game and that got into a friend with benefits situation with a girl I wasn’t too attracted to (it was mostly for sex and it was my first time). I did like her company however so when she asked to hang out more I politely agreed without knowing that that I would be sending the wrong message. I know I would be slightly uncomfortable being with her in public. We did that for around 3 months. When she found out that I wasn’t acting in her best interest, everything went south and she got really hurt and obviously told me off, and I feel this tremendous guilt. What should I do to recover and get back into the game?
Todd’s approach is dicey if you are looking for long term involvement. Where I disagree with Todd is that he labels serial pick up as “high value.” It’s quite the opposite. If you are new into game, you ideally won’t be in it for long b/c you’ll find someone…and that will be the end of your game career if, again, you want something steady and long term.

Great video on the whole topic. It's actually so obvious but it needed a simple explanation like this! Red pill is some mental gymnastics to feel superior and avoid getting hurt and avoid putting in the effort.
Depends on what guys mean when they say Red Pill. Nowadays, a lot of guys cite to Fresh and Fit as an example of Red Pill. F&F do yammer on about Red Pill a lot, but they actually are not very Red Pill. Red Pill is (or, was) more stoic - - deal with the world as it really is, - - it's your responsibility even if it's not your fault - - don't worry about fixing society, worry about fixing yourself - - if you want better, it's your responsibility to do it, because nobody owes you a god damn thing.
In contrast, Fresh and Fit is a very feminine show, notwithstanding that they say things that are called misogynistic. They talk things to death like a bunch of women on Oprah. They get very invested in trying to persuade the thots to their point of view. They have a very controlling attitude towards women, which is not classically Red Pill. Classic Red Pill says that you cannot control anything or anyone but yourself. If you act certain ways, then women will follow of their own accord, so the theory goes. But you are not trying to force women to do anything.
Red Pill started off as a small community with a fairly cohesive point of view. As the concept has gained traction, lots of people have tried to co-opt it for whatever their particular pet project is. So now you have a multitude of often conflicting worldviews that all claim to be Red Pill. Now when people tell you that Red Pill is that or Red Pill is this, they are really telling you more about themselves than they are telling you about Red Pill. Todd is Red Pill in the classic sense. He looks at the world objectively, even when it is not politically correct.

I agree, LTRs are a different ballpark. Stuff like The Black Phillip Show, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Crucial Conversations are very good at diving deep into relationships. It's one thing is to maintain attraction and another to maintain a relationship.

Hey Todd, You mentioned comparing the ideology of men's content to your life, and i did. I read Rich Coopers book, went to his channel and a lot of what he teaches rung home to me. It answered questions that even the RSD videos never did when i watched those back when you were with them. Now that's not to put down your content at all, followed you from there but like you even said, some of it is good.
I have spoken to friends, and they have told me things about their relationships that turned out to be red flags and low and behold I was right, thanks to the above-mentioned creators lessons if you will. I have seen things for my self as well. Say females sleeping around who jump from guy to guy after they have a high body content.
It did teach me one thing, avoid marriage for sure. Im avoiding having kids as well, as the amount of guys getting bent over the coals is worse than i thought before i found men's content.
Thinking outside the box for a moment, and this is my opinion largely and not those of the content creators i follow in men's content. Here but once i die, no matter what happens to me, reincarnation, heaven, purgatory, black abyss whatever. Once i die, those genes are no longer mine, so i personally don't see a point in caring whether they get passed along anyway. I think of that as thinking beyond the human or "organism" that i am, thinking beyond my primate brain. Also, with the way the world is, e.g. living to make the rich richer and a life of wage sl*vry. I wouldn't want to produce offspring because also the possibility i did get cheated on, she runs off with the kids and some judge bends me over ordering i pay x amount. I just don't see the up. Okay, yes it sounds nihilistic, but that's my view point.
Looking for evidence can also be the commonalities between what different content creators show and teach.
It's worth noting i have been working in nightclubs since 2005 both as staff and door staff aka Bouncer, I have seen a lot happen to guys over the years.

Something else worth noting is I have unfollowed a few channels who started to seem a little shall we say radical for lack of a better term, so yes i agree some are good, some are bad.

Come on Todd, that is not the conclusion of evolutionary psychology. It stipulates that because of that primary objective, men and women employ different strategies to achieve this goal, which in turn explains a lot of their behaviour. The red pill gives you the whole picture, short term and long term, but it does not tell you what to do. It only arms you with knowledge about intersexual dynamics. But it reveals some very uncomfortable truths. Because some unflattering aspects of female nature have been unveiled, it makes people think twice about going into LTRs. What fabianm said, it's a balance. My general rule is that I always try to come across as constructive and proactive, so if we're close enough to discuss those things, I'll tell the girl that I had a hard day because of XYZ but I'm working on some things to fix it, and I know it'll be ok in the end, but it's been a hard day anyway. That's the kind of message where a girl can comfort you and support you, but also know that you're still a capable man who is moving forward and handling his life, you're not defeated and helpless.

In order to have the relationship you want, a man needs to learn both game as well as understand the red pill. Men with game but no understanding of female nature will just get into shitty relationship after shitty relationship (me in my early to mid 20’s). Men who understand female nature but don’t have any game will just not have any relationships at all (incels). If you want just casual sex and to rack up your notch count, just learn game. If you want a quality long term relationship with someone that could be your wife and mother if your children someday, then you need both, so learn both.
Lots of comments hating on red pill here. Personally, red pill content is best at removing women from the pedestal and avoiding oneitis. Easy to get her qualifying if you have some genuine skepticism about whether she's worth your time. But as with all things, it can go too far. I wouldn't suggest any MGTOW content to anyone, but anything that promotes men improving themselves and having a less idealistic view of women is good.
This is a fair point. My red pill phase thoroughly beat any oneitis tendencies out of me. I don't typically watch RP content anymore, but I do think it served a purpose in my life.

What is your opinion on having female friends. I generally see and talk to women I find attractive. Never have IU found myself talking to an unattractive girl. I did approach 1 or 2 with the idea being, "I would like to have a female friend," but that ended with me catching feelings or her catching feelings followed by a lot of pain and the relationship ending. I concluded that if time is spent with the person (Specifically female) they gain value and become someone I'd like to have as, "more than just a friend," and visa versa.
