- If there is one thing Kotobukiya is pretty good at with anime figures, it has to be consistency, which is the best word I can use to describe this 1/7 scale figure of Traveller Lumine from Genshin Impact. While there may be few figures from this game, so far every single one of them has been pretty good, regardless of whether it was made by Apex Toys (Ningguang, Keqing, Ganyu, Klee), Wonderful Works (Mona Megistus), or Kotobukiya (Aether, Barbara Pegg). From the Kotobukiya figures in the last year or so, the figure is very accurate to the prototype. Which, imo, is the most important thing. Nothing worse than feeling like you got scammed by a figure company.
I have this figurine. Its beautiful and amazing. It cost me $200.
My GF has this online game craziness, I got this figure and Amber (the girl in red).
I tried the game but it has so much lore, it went over my head pretty quickly I must say. The figures were nice to put on her computer desk.
Exclusive my ass lmao 😂 Good figure you have there Steven, though I feel like Kotobukiya has always been middle of the pack with regard to clothes and hair sculpt. I guess Apex Toys' figures did raise my bar a lot higher than before xD - their high quality and good prices beat a lot of Japanese makers nowadays 😅
Apex is indeed better than Kotobukiya. Wayyyyy better
I like Kotobukiyas Pokémon trainer line. Some of their Marvel, DC and Star Wars line is good too.
Just wish getting the bonus face ver from kotous wasn't so expensive comparatively

love kotobukiya stuff, they always look great and the price pretty reasonable (imo) compared to many other figures from different company these days
She looks amazing, but I don't know I just feel she lacks in shading... especially her outfit.
That's classic Kotobukiya. They almost never shades their figures, with only a few exceptions. And given this is a relatively lower priced scale, I'm not surprised at all

Wow, tough call. For me i think I'd lean towards Ganyu a bit more for the pose. This Lumine, you look at her right hand, while i don't have any issue at it, it doesn't look that natural - i think in the original art that right hand is holding something but they redesigned it in this figure probably to cut cost. That is fine but the end result can be a little bit better i think.

The figure is permanently fixed to the base unfortunately. A lot of Kotobukiya figures are like that
@@EXkurogane Ive been a bit worried, I asked Pre Order party (not officially like you did) they also doubts about that... Im a little disappointed to hear that from you, Im not so perfectionist like how good you judging details but the base/stand is quite ugly in my opinion, I prefer to use a transparent base if it can be removed.
btw, I asking this because, this is the first time I ordered a Kotobukiya figure, the item hasn't arrived in Indonesia yet, maybe around November, December
@@anraulfazekas about 80% of Kotobukiya figures are fixed to the base. They are one of very few figure companies that do this, and yes, i don't like it either

It's limited version. Theoretically you can only get it from Kotobukiya's online shop, but some sellers on Taobao also include the extra face part when you buy the figure.
Kotobukiya are lazy take them of base that figure very cheap only like £70
