- Join me on board a StageCoach coach on a quite simple lovely journey from the UK’s most northernmost town of Thurso to the capital of the Highlands, Inverness.
We pass through little villages and towns along the way whilst skirting around the rugged coastline of North East Scotland.

Ah nice. Yeah the X99 is a lovely journey by bus to Inverness I've done it a few times. My last trip on the X99 was actually 30th September in 2023 so U travelled weeks after I did.
Did you see me and Aidan in the video ?

What a nice journey. I would like to take the train up and bus to Inverness. Or the other way around. Also spend a day in Thurso and Wick.
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated.
Hi Great video, as a long exiled Scot, it was nice to see the homeland again.Last time did the Thurso to Inverness run was about 30plus years ago. Regards Crawford
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. It's a beautiful country.
Both the Far North Line and Dunnethead are on my bucket list. I plan to scratch them off next week. Given all the cancellations with trains at the moment due to industrial action or the weather I might be riding this bus to get from Inverness to Thurso. Good to have a back up plan. Thanks for showing this
Hiu mate, thanks for watching - appreciated - enjoy.
I've done the rail journey.the bus trip even more scenic by passing through those neat little towns.nice one! Ken(NZ).
hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated.
Very enjoyable video.
Hi mate, thanks for watching - very much appreciated
Great video plan to do some touring round Scotland later in the year. Think we have got used to the £2 fares in England now so to hear you paid £26 for a single journey was a bit shocked.
I wonder how that compares to the train
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. Yeah I was too, fairy expensive but as it serves local communities along route I didn't mind paying.
Not bad for a 3.5 hour trip I think.
